Job DescriptionDescription: Electric Machinery Company, a division of WEG Electric Corp. Minneapolis, MN Position: Quality Inspector / Electrical Manufacturing - 1st Shift Department: Quality Team Department Primary Objective of Position Responsible for acting in the quality control process, performing activities such as visual and dimensional inspection of parts, and other activities. Major Areas of Accountability – WEN: • Inspect parts or products using appropriate instruments, following pre-established standards and procedures, and guide other inspectors in their activities., • Conduct nondestructive tests, including visual inspection, liquid penetrant testing, magnetic particle testing, and ultrasonic testing., • Interpret specifications relevant to your area of activity, such as standards, product drawings, electromechanical specifications, and catalogs., • Compare inspection results with specification values, making decisions on acceptance or rejection based on conformity., • Perform inspections on special products, monitor them, and address any issues that arise., • Analyze customer purchase orders, drawings, specifications, standards, and modifications to ensure product conformity and verify quality assurance conditions., • Coordinate with support areas (e.g., Sales, Product Engineering, PCP, Purchasing) to assess product and material conformity., • Identify inspected items with appropriate labels and inform the production area leader if necessary., • Prepare inspection reports detailing the quality of parts, finished products, or in-process items, highlighting relevant findings., • Calibrate measuring instruments and devices using reference standards for various inspections., • Maintain data on quality issues related to non-conformance., • Commit to Continuous Improvement by identifying and acting on opportunities in daily work., • High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced certification or degree in a related field preferred., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including geometric tolerances, and specifications (e.g., process specifications, NEMA, IEEE, ASTM, ASME, API)., • Knowledge of welding, machining, painting, and assembly processes., • Proficiency in shop math for calculating dimensions such as bolt circles, chords, tapers, thread forms, and true position., • Desired computer skills; experience with SAP system or vibration software (e.g., ADRE) is a plus., • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be self-motivated., • Effective teamwork and independent work skills., • Strong oral and written communication skills., • Ability to partner and communicate effectively with internal and external customers at all organizational levels., • 1st shift salary range $21.00 hourly to $25.00 hourly Voluntary weekend overtime. Job Description Mid Continent Engineering is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team! This is a 1st Shift- 6 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday opportunity. Mid-Continent has been a supplier to first-tier OEMs within the medical, aerospace and defense industries for decades. Mid-Continent Engineering stuffs the armed forces supply chain with products of our capabilities such as precision machining, aerospace welding, chromate conversion, paint/powder coat finishing, mechanical assemblies, and other design-assist services. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following: • Advanced quality control activities such as mechanical inspection, CMM, special process verification (welding, painting, plating) and internal auditing., • Set-up and operate all quality equipment for use in accomplishing quality assurance., • Perform complex inspection procedures using precision testing equipment., • First Piece Inspections, FAI, Completing AS9102’s. Preparing FAI submissions., • Handle all receiving, in-process and final inspection for quality, appearance, and compliance with customer specifications, for complicated parts and assemblies with little to no supervision., • Determine the reason for product defects and communicates to others., • Support and maintain raw material, hardware certifications, C of C’s, Reject Reports, CAPA databases and Inspection Records, • Investigate and determine direct cause/root cause of problems and implement corrective actions of non-conformances with the production supervisors., • Maintain discipline, morale, and harmonious relations among employees., • Support and maintain the Quality Management System and the Quality Records, • Education equivalent to a complete accredited apprenticeship training; or a degree from an accredited university or college; or equivalent work experience of 3-5 years’ experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment with minimum education requirement of High School Diploma or G.E.D., • Prefer experience with Inspection and Quality Control methods, techniques, and equipment, • Knowledge of use of a wide variety of measuring instruments and complicated drawings., • Must have experience working with Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc., • Blueprint reading/GD&T basic knowledge, • Effective communication skills; written and verbal comprehension; organizational skills, • Can work well within teams or groups., • Working knowledge of PCs and various, computer software. Epicor ERP Software experience is a plus., • Set up and operate all equipment in the department., • Exposure to statistical process control, • Ability to identify/analyze problems and offer solutions. Position Summary: Puttshack is looking to attract a diverse team of fun hospitality associates who care deeply about creating an elevated, one-of-a-kind guest experience. The Reception position is responsible for greeting guests with a warm welcome, guiding the guest safely into and throughout the venue, checking in reservations, seating guests within the venue to dine, and guiding guests through the fun and excitement of the Puttshack experience. Your energy and enthusiasm as you interact with our guests help set the tone for an amazing experience. Schedule/Hours: Our venues are open 7 days/week, typically from 11am-1am with some variations. While we will do our best to accommodate scheduling preferences, they may not always be guaranteed, and we value flexibility. All positions within our venue are variable schedules, meaning a typical work schedule may be anywhere between 15 and 30 hours on a weekly basis depending on business needs and individual availability. In this role you will ensure project goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed schedule and budget parameters. As a leading member of a project team, you will also be expected to foster a strong teamwork-oriented culture with the Superintendent and other field staff. You will provide proactive and intentional leadership in developing a safe culture on the project site and resolve any conflicts in an appropriate way.
