This is a Consulting/Contractor role structured as a 1099 Independent Contractor (Corp-to-Corp) engagement, not a W-2 position. As such, contractors are responsible for their own state and federal taxes, deductions, and benefits. The role is billed and paid on an hourly basis, based on a standard 8-hour workday (week, year). There is potential for this engagement to develop into a longer-term contract based on overall fit and performance. Contracts are usually 1-year terms with the likely possibility of renewal on an annual basis for extended terms based on overall fit and performance. Annual renewals will likely include performance rate increases. The position follows regular Pacific Time business hours, with occasional additional hours as needed. On-site Requirement: Applicants should be based in Orange County, Southern California, as this is an on-site role. We are seeking a Senior Program Manager who can run multiple Enterprise Interactive Marketing Web Projects using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid Agile/Waterfall SDLCs to join our team! You will coordinate activities for Developers, BSAs, QA, Client Resources, and Third Party Resources to ensure that Project workstreams are on track, identify any potential risks and mitigations, operate the JIRA and Confluence tools for each workstream, create weekly status slides for Business Leadership, and update statuses in various project management tools (Jira, Confluence, SmartSheet), among other Program Management duties. This is a hands-on role working that requires collaboration with Digital Agencies and other Service Providers in order to ensure that delivery of projects stays on track and impediments are anticipated and mitigated ahead of time. Responsibilities: • Drive execution and delivery of multiple high-profile technical, product, or software development projects from start to finish., • Manage intra- and inter-team dependencies, highlight project blockers and risk,s and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them., • Track and manage dependencies across multiple projects; leads escalation processes to make issues visible to stakeholders and leadership; drive resolution of dependency issues through the process., • Partner with project teams to identify interdependencies, conflicts, and risks associated with delivery. Identify and manage all project dependencies and the critical path. Complete dedication to the PMO and all the activities within; creating a weekly agenda, publishing a weekly status, meeting coordination, meeting recaps, RAID Log activities, and assessing various projects or task-related artifacts., • Collaborate with Product Managers on project objectives, provide clear communications to teams and stakeholders on milestones, deliverables, and success criteria., • Develop trusted partnerships with stakeholders by collaborating and delivering on common goals., • Ensure that projects and priorities support the partner's strategic plans and each project is managed to ensure on-time implementation and flawless execution., • Facilitate backlog grooming and story deconstruction., • Manage demand by working closely with all constituents to prioritize programs and projects based on business needs, resource capacity, risk exposure, and interdependencies., • Develop delivery plans for complex projects and programs., • Manage project schedules, identify possible issues, and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders., • Maintain a clear overview of project timelines (Agile/Kanban boards, Gantt charts, spreadsheets, etc.) and progress using project and task management tools (primarily in Jira and Confluence)., • Provide timely updates on the status of projects to a cross-functional audience in multiple formats., • Leverage Agile and SDLC methodologies to lead teams on a daily basis to the successful delivery of software development projects in accordance with the delivery framework and established best practices. Remove impediments; track blockers and report slippages with workable mitigation plans., • Manage daily scrums, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and sprint demos., • Frequently communicate program and roadmap status and schedule updates. Create and maintain project documentation (primarily in Confluence) that is the single source of truth about a project to keep teams aligned and informed., • Work with senior leadership, stakeholders, partners, and delivery teams to track and maintain a program-level view of initiatives., • Work closely with vendors, product managers, and engineering teams to get high-quality products and features through various internal and external software project release lifecycles., • Lead overall project stage gate review processes, through conducting readiness assessments to identifying gaps in readiness throughout the project life cycle., • Identify project risks; analyze and communicate prioritized mitigation plans to stakeholders. Ensure proper execution of risk, issue, and communication management., • Own overall project communications, escalate risks, and manage the issue resolution process. Continuously monitor projects/programs' status and impact on customer relations., • Escalate project risks and constraints to sthe enior management team in a timely manner., • Work with the Product Owners, Project Managers, and Specialists to interview, review, analyze, develop, and craft business requirements, user stories, wireframes, and storyboards for website redesign projects., • 5-7 years as a Project or Program Manager working in the Digital world or IT., • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or IT., • Experience in Automotive Digital, Digital Retail, or large-scale eCommerce Programs is a huge plus., • Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, • Agile SDLC and associated ceremonies, • Status Slides for Leadership using PowerPoint, • Project Management Tools such as JIRA/Confluence and SmartSheets, • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PPT, Teams, etc), • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, • Ability to prioritize and multitask, • Deadline and detail-oriented, • Strong communication skills, • Proactive communicator, • Being able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment will maintain composure, • Ability to schedule meetings in Teams, etc, • Using a VPN where needed, • PMP certification is a plus, • Working on projects that included full-stack development of large-scale Web and Mobile Applications, • Working on projects that include Cloud, especially AWS-related implementations, • Working on projects that included DevOps and CI/CD, • Working on projects that include the implementation/use of AI platforms, • No babysitting required.
