Job DescriptionEmbark on a rewarding journey as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long-Term Care, anchored in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a starting date of 12/13/2025. In this role, you’ll deliver compassionate, resident-centered care that honors dignity, independence, and comfort. You’ll partner with families, fellow caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to promote wellness, reduce discomfort, and enhance quality of life for aging adults who deserve warmth, respect, and skilled support. Each shift offers a chance to witness the value of careful, consistent nursing—small moments that create lasting peace of mind for residents and their loved ones. North Carolina’s diverse landscapes also invite moments of rest and renewal: stroll the tree-lined streets of Charlotte, wander the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, or unwind on a nearby coast—proof that meaningful work can harmonize with rich, restorative experiences in one beautiful state. This position blends the energy of a vibrant city with the serenity of intimate care settings. Charlotte offers a thriving healthcare community, cultural amenities, dining, and professional networks, all within easy access to weekend explorations in mountains, beaches, or charming small towns. For those who relish variety, there’s the opportunity to work across various locations in the United States, exposing you to different facilities, resident populations, and care models while leveraging the stability and onboarding support provided by our trusted partner. Expect a supportive environment that values your expertise and provides resources to help you grow while you explore new locales and expand your clinical repertoire. Role specifics and professional growth: As an LPN in Long-Term Care, you’ll perform essential daily living activities, monitor vitals, administer medications within scope, and document accurately in electronic health records. You’ll assist with mobility, transfer techniques, wound care, hygiene, nutrition, and fall prevention, ensuring safety and comfort during every interaction. You’ll contribute to care planning, participate in rounds, and communicate changes in residents’ conditions to the care team. The position offers pathways for growth, including advanced clinical skills in geriatrics, infection control, pain management, and geriatric assessment, plus potential leadership exposure as charge nurse support or shift lead on select assignments. Ongoing training, mentorship, and opportunities to obtain specialty certifications support your advancement while you continue to impact residents’ lives on a daily basis. Benefits and compensation: You’ll receive competitive weekly pay in the range of $1,337–$1,413, with the potential for bonuses, housing assistance, and extension opportunities on favorable assignments. Hours are not guaranteed on every contract (Guaranteed Hours: 0.0), reflecting the flexible, travel-oriented nature of short- and multi-week placements. Nevertheless, you’ll experience dependable onboarding, a clear contract structure, and transparent communication about assignment length and expectations. You’ll also have access to a dedicated support team, 24/7 assistance while you travel with the company, and a network of clinical educators who can answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and guide you through challenging cases. In addition, you’ll gain exposure to diverse facilities and patient populations, strengthening your resume and broadening your professional perspective. Supportive culture and values: Our client is committed to empowering nursing staff through a collaborative, inclusive culture that emphasizes open communication, respect, and career development. You can count on mentoring, constructive feedback, and opportunities to contribute ideas that influence care delivery and resident outcomes. The company believes that when nurses feel valued and equipped to grow, patient care improves—and so do you. Expect a supportive environment that prioritizes ethical practice, work–life balance when possible, and a focus on continuous learning and professional satisfaction.
