Job Description Job Summary: Field Service Technician plays a critical role in setting up our customers for success. You will be the "boots on the ground" responsible for traveling to customer sites to install smart water equipment, troubleshoot hardware in the field, and ensure system performance. Key Responsibilities • Installation & Maintenance: Install water meters, registers, and monitoring equipment at mobile home parks, commercial buildings, and schools., • Field Diagnostics: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues on-site to ensure data is flowing to the WaterScope platform., • Data & Onboarding: Analyze water usage data during setup and supervise contract installation crews to ensure Metron standards are met., • Customer Excellence: Provide on-site customer service to explain our technology and update service requests with job details., • Requirements: High School Diploma (or equivalent) and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation., • Physical Ability: Ability to lift 50 lbs and a willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and confined spaces., • Travel: Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (surrounding cities and states) with all expenses paid., • Tech Skills: Proficiency with basic computer programs (Excel/Word) and the ability to learn proprietary hardware/software., • Construction, plumbing, or irrigation background., • Location: Dallas/Ft.Worth, TX (Regional travel required), • Employment Type: Full-time (40+ hours per week), • Base Salary Range: $22.00 – $32.00 per hour (based on experience) + bonus opportunity., • Benefits: Competitive package including Medical, Dental, and Vision plans; 401(k) with company match; and Paid Time Off (PTO).
