Job Description Job Requirements: -Must be a minimum of 21 years old. -Minimum 2 years of previous technical experience with Class 6-8 Commercial Trucks, Tractors, and Trailers. -Air Brake Systems Certification. -Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot repairs using diagnostic systems -ASE Certification is preferred. -Knowledge of air, electronic, braking, and suspension systems, as well as general mechanical operation and/or light body repair -Familiar with FHWA (Federal Highway Administration), FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations), and BIT (Basic Inspection of Terminals) inspections -High School Diploma or GED (Preferred) -Must be able to lift 70 pounds -Candidate must provide his/her own tools. -A valid CDL (Commercial Drivers' License) driver's license that has not been suspended or revoked in connection with a moving violation within the past three (3) years Job Description:Responsibilities -Requires a valid CDL A to shuttle equipment between satellite locations. -Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative and as-needed maintenance of diesel trucks and electronic vehicles. -Properly operate the mobile service truck and attend tothe truck inventory -Interpret and follow work orders and technical manuals -Travel to locations to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance. -Communicate effectively with management, providing them with detailed breakdowns of service requirements and costs. -Maintain schedules and document completed preventative maintenance and repairs. -Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems -Test repaired equipment for proper performance; ensure work meets manufacturer's specifications according to FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) -Maintaining parts and yard organization (with direction from operations management) to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
