Job DescriptionWe're seeking an HR Specialist with expertise in Payroll and Benefits Administration to join a dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate payroll processing, benefits compliance, and exceptional employee support. Key Responsibilities • Payroll Administration, • Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule., • Maintain payroll records, reconcile deductions, and handle adjustments (bonuses, commissions, garnishments)., • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations., • Benefits Administration, • Manage employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, retirement, FSA, COBRA)., • Coordinate open enrollment and liaise with vendors and brokers., • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and payroll promptly., • Compliance & Reporting, • Maintain confidential employee records in HRIS (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paycom)., • Prepare payroll and benefits reports for audits and management., • Stay current on evolving HR, payroll, and benefits legislation., • Employee Support, • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll and benefits questions., • Assist with onboarding and orientation related to compensation and benefits.Qualifications, • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred., • Experience: 2-4 years in payroll and benefits administration; multi-state experience strongly preferred., • Skills:, • Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems (ADP Workforce Now, Paycom, Workday)., • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ERISA, COBRA, and ACA compliance., • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality., • Certifications: SHRM-CP, PHR, or CPP a plus.Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $59,000.00 per year Search managed by: Amaka Mozie Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
