This role will help build reporting and analytical capabilities from the ground up, including developing data reporting to track monthly performance against forecast and budget, identifying key business metrics, and improving visibility into financial results. The Senior Finance Analyst analyzes trends, variances, and performance drivers, supports business case modeling and investment analysis, and provides insights and recommendations to improve revenue, margin, and overall financial performance. This position requires a highly analytical, proactive professional who can work cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Key Deliverables: • Create reporting frameworks to ensure optimal business decisions are made:, • Partner with executives to assess, identify and prioritize performance reporting needs including key metrics., • Continuously improve existing reporting and forecasting to limit information gaps and to provide information to manage the business more effectively., • Ensure all relevant reporting deadlines are met., • Collaborate with organizational leaders to interpret P&L results and help drive revenue and margin growth:, • Partner with organization leaders to understand variances to budget and prior year results., • Analyze financial results, including trends, budget, forecast and related variances., • Review trends and drivers of financial performance to identify opportunities for improvement., • Partner with leaders to gather action plans to close any performance gaps to budget., • Produce budgeting and forecasting reports:, • Coordinate data requests required to produce the annual budget., • Develop reporting to track and analyze monthly results against forecast and budget., • Perform additional high-profile ad-hoc analyses and decision support as required:, • Participate in preparation of board presentations and partner requests., • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions., • Assist investment and capital expenditure analysis:, • Support operations in producing business case modeling and ROI analysis., • Understand the business model and operations for potential investment opportunities. Required Experience and Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, • 5–8 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting/forecasting, and financial modeling, • Experience developing financial reports, dashboards, and analysis from the ground up to support business decision-making, • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines, • Demonstrated initiative, intellectual curiosity, and strong ownership of work product, • Ability and desire to quickly learn Lanter’s business model, systems, data, and reporting tools, • Strong analytical mindset and ability to make confident, fact-based decisions, • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and translate financial data into clear insights for business leaders, • Superior organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous projects, • Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion, • Demonstrated ability to identify financial risks and opportunities and assess potential business impact, • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, including the ability to analyze large datasets and present findings clearly Preferred Experience: • CPA and/or public accounting experience, • MBA or Master’s degree in accounting or finance, • Experience working with financial accounting systems, ERP platforms, and data warehouses Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position; hours of work are typically Monday through Friday between 8:00 – 5:00pm, averaging 40 - 45 hours per week, with ability to work extra hours as determined by the workload and internal customer expectations. Travel: This position may require occasional travel. Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, copier, and phone.
