Position Summary: In collaboration with the Community Resource Coordinator, the Assistant Resource Coordinator supports in the planning, coordination, and delivery of out of school time programs, camps, and events based on school, parent, and student interests and needs to help foster the critical thinking and independence of students. The role helps ensure a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for students while collaborating with staff, families, and community partners. Hours: Monday-Thursday 1pm-5pm (4 hours a day) We are currently hiring Part-time for the following school: Spry High School 2400 S Marshall Blvd Chicago, IL 60623 Essential Duties/Responsibilities: • Provide administrative and program support for out-of-school time programs, • Serve as team lead/YG point person when the Resource Coordinator is out of the office., • Make executive decisions to manage the program, address schedule changes, handle emergencies, etc. with the best interests of all stakeholders in mind., • Aid in staff development and support program staff and partner organizations in complying with Youth Guidance policies, guidelines, trainings, and compliance requirements., • Maintain a complete and accurate record of attendance, program enrollment, consent forms, and services in database systems., • Support budget management, including the procurement of materials and supplies, program specific tuition payments, vendor invoices, and ensure the maintenance of accurate financial records, data, and statistical reports in accordance with organizational and compliance standards., • Supervise and support students and staff where directed., • Maintain behavior expectations for students by coaching and modeling with staff, fostering positive relationships, and reinforcing skills that promote consistent conflict resolution, restorative justice, effective positive discipline behavior management techniques, and appropriate student support., • Maintain positive and mutually informative relationships with school administration, teachers, staff, parents, students, and community stakeholders., • Maintain compliance documentation, and impact data to support effective communication with grant providers, schools, parents, students, community members, and other relevant stakeholders as needed., • Cultivate and maintain collaborative partnerships within the community to provide support for programs and the schools mission, such as resources, volunteers, donations, youth opportunities, grants, etc, • Attend relevant meetings, including team meetings, school-led meetings, community events, and other stakeholder gatherings., • Complete all required training and compliance requests., • Adhere to the established program schedule and proactively communicate with supervisor in advance regarding any anticipated absences and changes in availability., • Maintain a professional work ethic, appropriate appearance, and adherence to the dress code of the school and Youth Guidance, while consistently representing the organization in a positive and respectful manner at all times., • Perform other duties as assigned by the Resource Coordinator.
