Job Description PRIMARY FUNCTION/PURPOSE: The core responsibility of the Residential Aide (RA) includes the continued assurance of support and care to clients residing in the shelter. Responsibilities Summary Provides case management of Intensive Supervision Appearance Program (ISAP) participants from entry to release by administering the program’s policies and procedures as defined by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) contract. Primary Duties and Responsibilities • Develops, implements, coordinates, reviews and updates case management and individual service plans for ISAP participants in conformance with state and federal regulations and program requirements. Job Description PRIMARY FUNCTION/PURPOSE: The core responsibility of the Residential Aide (RA) includes the continued assurance of support and care to clients residing in the shelter. Job Description The Mental Health Association is seeking a Crisis Outreach Supervisor for our new program, 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Team, operating out of the Hudson County location. The 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program will respond to adults (18 and above) in nonlife-threatening situations who have contacted the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program (MCORT) responds 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year, to nonlife-threatening mental health, substance use or suicidal crises in the community. MCORT will work in coordination with the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline crisis centers. (The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline was formerly the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.) MCORT is to be comprised of a two-person team in the field under supervision by a third professional from a centralized location. Job Description The Unaccompanied Children Program provides long term and transitional residential care and other supportive services to Unaccompanied Children (UC) who are under legal custody of the Federal Government. Working in collaboration with the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement, ORR, our program provides a safe and nurturing environment for youth in a Basic Shelter program located at our licensed residential facilities as well as a Transitional Foster Care program in foster homes in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Westchester. Direct patient care: * • Assisting with patient mobility, bathing, feeding, or monitoring vital signs (patient care technicians, certified nursing assistants)., • Education and counseling: Providing patient education on treatments, conditions, and medications (health educators, dietitians)., • Rehabilitation support: Assisting patients in rehabilitative activities to improve mobility and function (occupational therapy assistants). Maintaining patient records: * • Ensuring that accurate medical documentation is up to date (medical record technicians)., • Scheduling and coordination: Arranging appointments, tests, or procedures for patients (medical office assistants). Billing and coding: * • Handling insurance claims and medical billing using appropriate coding systems (medical billers and coders)., • Operating specialized equipment: Such as in radiology, sonography, respiratory therapy, or anesthesiology. Sterilizing instruments: * • Ensuring that all medical instruments and environments are sterile (surgical technologists).
