As a Estimating Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of various construction projects. Your primary function will be to provide accurate and detailed estimates for a wide range of commercial projects, from small to large miscellaneous metal projects. This role will also involve cost control, budgeting, compliance, and quality assurance. You will be responsible for generating detailed reports and presentations on bid progress, success rates, and budget performance. Responsibilities: As a Estimating Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 1. Accurately input costs for proposals and perform detailed estimates from drawings for various projects., 2. Oversee cost control, budgeting, compliance, and quality assurance for all assigned projects., 3. Assist in generating detailed reports and presentations on bid progress, success rates, and budget performance., 4. Manage change orders and provide design assistance as needed., 5. Monitor market trends, material costs, and labor rates to maintain up-to-date pricing strategies., 6. Use software such as Tekla, Bluebeam, and On-Screen Takeoff for various construction tasks., 7. Supervise and guide a team, providing support and mentorship as needed. Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural steel construction estimating., 2. Proficiency in using software such as Tekla, Bluebeam, and On-Screen Takeoff., 3. Strong understanding of the commercial construction industry, including market trends, material costs, and labor rates., 4. Proven experience in cost control, budgeting, compliance, and quality assurance., 5. Ability to generate detailed reports and presentations on bid progress, success rates, and budget performance., 6. Experience in change order management and design assistance., 7. A minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience is preferred. This role requires a dedicated, detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of the construction industry.
