Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to oversee the resident selection and eligibility process for affordable housing programs. This role ensures compliance with regulations, supports timely tenant move-ins, maintains accurate reporting, and provides clear communication with applicants and staff • Supervises and investigates potential tenants for eligibility under the affordable housing program guidelines., • Oversees the collection and review of housing applications and income documentation to determine tenant eligibility., • Reviews and approves Initial Tenant Income Certifications (TIC) and ensures submission of housing applications to required regulatory agencies., • Monitors communications with regulatory agencies to confirm receipt of applications and compliance with applicable regulations., • Tracks the application process through leasing and assists in ensuring timely tenant move-ins. Reviews and processes subsidy paperwork. Supervises the analysis and updating of spreadsheets and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance., • Identifies compliance issues in reports and oversees the resolution process., • Manages wait-lists, logbooks, and other systems to engage potential tenants. Utilizes Housing Connect 2.0 effectively., • Ensures timely and professional responses to inquiries via email and phone. Supervises file completion, organization, and tenant communications, • Provides guidance and training to team members involved in the resident selection process, • Performs other duties as assigned. Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: • High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus, • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role, • Required to be fluent in Spanish; speaking and writing, • Minimum 3 years experience in office setting, • Minimum of 3 years using Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel), • Capable of handling multiple phone lines, • Proficient in maintaining organization and multitasking, • Proficient in maintaining a calm demeanor in a fast pace environment, • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., scanners and printers), • Professional attitude and appearance, • Solid written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise, • Excellent organizational skills, • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, • Customer service attitude Wavecrest Management provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
