Job Description Trans-Bridge Lines, Inc., a family-run business celebrating over 83 years in business, is seeking a full-time IT Technician to join our company. This position will be responsible for assisting with all hardware, software, and online ticketing systems. This position will also be a partial back up to our communications manager in dealing with website design, development and changes. NOTE: This position is based in Bethlehem, PA and requires an on-site presence, Monday-Friday (not remote or hybrid). Duties/Responsibilities: • Point of contact for all online ticketing training, questions, issues and problem solving from internal and external users., • Main contact and liaison between Trans-Bridge and our 3rd party IT vendors., • Assists with all server and network maintenance, including hardware and software updates., • Assist with computer upgrades and maintenance., • Assist and at times be a partial back up to the Communications Manager, working closely on the development of the company website, including video production., • Completion of initial training and any ongoing training., • Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned. Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: • Solid understanding of desktop hardware and peripheral setup and maintenance, • An understanding of network connectivity, including Wi-Fi and LAN, • Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, • Familiarity with website support, enhancement and SEO, • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to applications, desktops, laptops, and other hardware, • Able to provide guidance and training to users on basic technical issues and system functionalities, • Ability and desire to learn new software, especially a new online ticketing system, • Strong problem-solving skills, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Excellent time management and customer service skills, • Ability to work onsite five days a week in Bethlehem, PA Education and Experience: • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional technical education preferred, • At least 2-3 years of IT support experience required, • Experience with website support, changes and design preferred, • Prior experience customer service preferred Physical Requirements: • Sitting at a desk for a prolonged period while working on a computer and performing accounting duties, • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time Benefits: • Healthcare insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision), • Health and Dependent Flexible Spending Accounts, • Company Paid Short Term Disability and Life Insurance, • Employee Assistance Program (EAP), • 401(k) + company match, • Paid Time Off, • Employee bus transportation discount (conditions apply) EEO Statement: Trans-Bridge Lines, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
