POSITION SUMMARY: We are recruiting a highly experienced consultant to assist the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) as it implements a Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) EHR. The consultant will be expected to provide subject matter expertise for the design, build, implementation, and maintenance of EHR pharmacy modules and other pharmacy systems, such as pharmacy inventory management and medication dispensing systems. The consultant’s demonstrated experience using an EHR (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, etc.) should include developing and refining clinic and pharmacy workflows to include the billing/reimbursement functionality for medications, experience with integrating 340B compliance requirements, establishing protocols in a multi-facility clinic environment, and integrating pharmacy management software solutions.
