SUMMARY As an APP, you will be responsible for administering a variety of injectable treatments, including Botox, dermal fillers, and other non-surgical aesthetic procedures, tailored to meet each patient’s individual needs and aesthetic goals. You will conduct thorough patient consultations, assess their concerns, and develop customized treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes. In addition, you will educate patients on the benefits, risks, and aftercare associated with injectables, while providing exceptional care and attention throughout the treatment process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned) • Injectable Treatments: Administer Botox, dermal fillers, and other injectables with precision, ensuring patient safety and desired outcomes., • Patient Education & Consultation: Assess patient goals, explain treatment options, and provide aftercare guidance during consultations., • Follow-Up Care: Monitor post-treatment results, manage complications, and address patient concerns through follow-up appointments., • Collaboration with Medical Team: Work with the Medical Director and staff to ensure a seamless patient experience., • Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with regulations and confidentiality (HIPAA)., • Quality Assurance & Safety: Follow safety protocols, stay current on industry trends, and maintain equipment cleanliness., • Sales & Client Retention: Promote injectables, recommend additional services, and build long-term patient relationships for high satisfaction and retention. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • Master’s degree in nursing, • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in an aesthetic or medical setting, with specific experience in performing injectable treatments (Botox, dermal fillers, etc.)., • Experience working in a medical spa, dermatology clinic, or plastic surgery practice is preferred., • Knowledge of advanced aesthetic procedures and facial anatomy. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES • Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in your current state., • Certification in injectables and aesthetics (e.g., Botox and Dermal Filler training from an accredited provider)., • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, ANP, or similar) required., • BLS (Basic Life Support) and/or ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification is preferred. SKILLS/ABILITIES • High level of skill and comfort with performing aesthetic procedures, especially injectables., • Strong knowledge of facial anatomy and ability to assess patients’ needs and desires., • Attention to detail and a commitment to achieving optimal results for patients., • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish trust with clients., • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, even in a high-pressure environment., • Self-motivated and passionate about aesthetics, with a focus on continuing education and skill development. KEY MEASURES OF SUCCESS In this role, your success will be measured by your ability to deliver precise injectable treatments, ensure patient satisfaction, and contribute to the overall efficiency and growth of the practice. Key measures of success include: • Revenue Growth, • Patient Satisfaction Score, • Patient Conversion Rates, • Repeat Customers, • of Referrals PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and to talk and hear. Employees may be occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Employees must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds along with pushing and pulling on higher BMI patients. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, employees may be exposed to risk of infectious diseases when interacting with patients and/or family members. The employee may be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
