Job DescriptionDescription: Exciting Opportunity!! Our operation features a new state-of-the-art Bystronic fiber laser system with advanced automation, providing the opportunity to work with industry-leading technology designed to maximize efficiency, quality, and productivity. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Fiber Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC fiber laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality sheet metal components safely, accurately, and efficiently. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented manufacturing professional with experience operating fiber laser equipment, interpreting blueprints, performing quality inspections, and troubleshooting production issues. This individual will play a key role in maintaining machine performance, meeting production schedules, and ensuring finished products meet customer specifications. Schedule Monday through Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm. Occasional overtime may be required based on production demands. Essential Functions • Set up and operate CNC fiber laser cutting equipment and automated material handling systems, • Review work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure parts are produced accurately and efficiently, • Load, unload, and stage raw materials for production, • Monitor machine performance and production processes to maintain quality, accuracy, and productivity, • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to verify conformance to specifications, • Identify and troubleshoot machine, material, and quality issues to minimize downtime and scrap, • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and daily equipment inspections to ensure optimal machine performance, • Replace consumable components and assist with preventative maintenance activities as required, • Accurately document production activity, material usage, and quality results, • Communicate machine status, production progress, and operational concerns to supervisors and team members, • Assist other departments as needed to support production requirements, • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards, • Perform other duties as assignedRequirements:, • Previous experience operating CNC fiber laser equipment in a manufacturing environment required, • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions, • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and production issues, • Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and material handling, • Proficiency using measuring tools and performing basic quality inspections, • Strong shop math skills, including fractions, decimals, and metric conversions, • Comfortable working with computerized machine controls and manufacturing software, • Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred, • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to workplace safety What Makes Someone Successful in This Role • Safety-focused mindset, • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently, • Organized and detail-oriented, • Positive attitude and willingness to support team goals, • Commitment to producing high-quality work and continuous improvement, • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Why Work for Us?
