Job DescriptionJob Title: Laser OperatorJob Description This role focuses on operating mechanical stamping punch presses and related fabrication equipment to produce high-quality metal components. You will interpret shop orders and blueprints, perform precise measurements, and ensure all parts meet specifications while following established quality and safety standards in a climate-controlled, laid-back manufacturing environment. Responsibilities • Operate manual, part-in/part-out mechanical stamping punch presses to produce metal components according to production requirements., • Review and interpret shop orders, work instructions, blueprints, and inspection records to ensure accurate setup and production of quality parts., • Examine and measure products to verify conformance to specifications using measurement equipment as specified on inspection records., • Adjust machine settings and processes as needed to maintain consistent product quality and minimize defects., • Document inspection results and maintain accurate production and quality records in accordance with company procedures., • Comply with all policies, processes, and systems of the ISO quality management system to support continuous improvement and quality assurance., • Follow all safety procedures and support the commitment to a safe work environment as outlined in the safety vision and safety manual., • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production issues and ensure smooth workflow., • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including basic machine care and housekeeping tasks.Essential Skills, • At least 1 year of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment., • Hands-on experience operating machines in a metal manufacturing environment., • Ability to operate mechanical stamping punch presses and related fabrication equipment., • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, shop orders, and work instructions., • Ability to use measurement equipment as specified on inspection records to verify product conformance., • Familiarity with punch press and press brake operations., • Understanding of fabrication processes in a metal manufacturing setting., • Ability to follow and comply with ISO quality management system policies, processes, and systems., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts., • Ability to follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience working in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment., • Comfort working with various measurement tools and inspection documentation., • Strong communication skills to work effectively with production and quality teams., • Ability to adapt to changing production priorities and instructions., • Interest in ongoing professional development and skills enhancement.Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Oconomowoc, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $68000.00/yr.
