Job Description Account Manager – Commercial Print & Finishing Location: Bristol, WI (On-Site) About Converting Solutions Inc. (CSI) Converting Solutions Inc. (CSI) is a specialized print finishing and converting manufacturer based in Bristol, WI. We partner primarily with commercial printers and high-volume print manufacturers to provide lamination, die-cutting, UV coating, mounting, and specialty finishing services. Our customers rely on us for responsiveness, operational discipline, accuracy, and follow-through. We value long-term relationships, realistic commitments, and strong communication across both customers and internal teams. As we continue strengthening our systems, workflows, and account management structure, we are seeking an experienced print industry professional to join our team. The Role This is a relationship ownership and account management role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will serve as a primary relationship owner for assigned commercial print accounts — helping customers navigate projects from quoting and production coordination through delivery, issue resolution, and long-term account development. This role requires strong commercial judgment, operational awareness, and the ability to balance customer expectations with manufacturing realities. You will work closely with estimating, scheduling, production leadership, sales leadership, company ownership, CSR support staff, and operations teams to ensure accounts are managed proactively and professionally. The ideal candidate is relationship-oriented, operationally disciplined, growth-minded, and interested in becoming deeply knowledgeable in commercial print finishing operations and estimating. Key Responsibilities • Own and manage assigned commercial print and finishing accounts, • Build trusted long-term relationships with commercial print buyers, production teams, and leadership contacts, • Maintain visibility across multiple active customer programs and production timelines, • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer communication and account coordination, • Collect complete and accurate job specifications to support quoting and production success, • Partner closely with estimating, scheduling, production, and CSR support staff to ensure smooth execution, • Support quoting efforts for repeat and rerun work while continuing to learn CSI’s estimating and manufacturing workflows, • Develop familiarity with estimating processes and manufacturing capabilities to help support internal estimating resources over time, • Coordinate proactively with internal CSR support staff on operational execution and issue resolution, • Manage customer expectations, timelines, approvals, samples, and production communication, • Resolve issues calmly and professionally alongside internal support teams, • Educate customers on print finishing processes, capabilities, and best practices, • Identify opportunities to strengthen relationships and responsibly grow existing accounts This role focuses primarily on managing and growing existing commercial print relationships. Most accounts will be assigned through existing company relationships, referrals, or business development efforts already underway. Candidates who are capable of developing new business opportunities will have the ability to grow their compensation and account portfolio over time, though this is not intended to be a heavy cold-calling or hunter-style sales role. Success in this role includes deepening customer relationships, expanding account engagement, and helping customers view CSI as a long-term manufacturing partner. Customer & Field Engagement This role includes regular in-person customer visits throughout the Milwaukee and Chicago commercial print markets for relationship management, issue resolution, sample delivery, and account development. The position is primarily on-site in Bristol, WI to support close collaboration with internal teams and production operations. What Success Looks Like Within 6–12 months: • Customers trust you and enjoy working with you, • Accounts remain organized, proactive, and positioned for long-term growth, • Internal teams receive clean, actionable information that supports operational success, • Problems are resolved proactively and professionally, • You are confidently supporting rerun and repeat-job quoting activities, • Existing customer relationships deepen over time, • You develop strong familiarity with CSI’s estimating, production, and finishing workflows Required Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in commercial print, print finishing, packaging, or related manufacturing environments, • Strong understanding of print terminology, production workflows, and manufacturing realities, • Experience working directly with commercial printers and production-focused customers, • Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt within fast-paced operational environments, • Strong relationship management and communication skills, • Confidence handling difficult conversations professionally and calmly, • Ability to manage multiple active customer programs and shifting priorities simultaneously, • Experience using print MIS systems such as Dienamics, EFI, OTPrint, or similar platforms, • Exposure to finishing processes such as lamination, die-cutting, mounting, or UV coating, • Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing print environments, • Estimating, quoting, or pricing familiarity, • Experience working with brands, agencies, or large print buyers, • Ability to identify account growth opportunities responsibly This role requires collaboration across multiple departments and consistent communication across customer-facing and operational teams. The right candidate must be steady under pressure, customer-focused, operationally disciplined, growth-minded, and capable of balancing relationship management with manufacturing realities. We value: • Accountability, • Direct communication, • Patience, • Commercial judgment, • Team-first mentality, • Operational discipline, • Follow-through This position is opening due to the upcoming retirement of a long-standing team member. We are looking for someone who can build upon a strong customer foundation while helping elevate our account management structure and customer experience for the future. Compensation & Growth Compensation includes a competitive base salary with incentive opportunities tied to account growth, retention, and overall account performance. Additional earning opportunities may exist for self-developed accounts and expanded customer relationships. This role offers long-term opportunity for increased account responsibility, relationship ownership, estimating involvement, and leadership collaboration as the company continues to evolve.
