Job Description Position Overview The Tribute Companies is seeking a skilled, dependable, and highly flexible professional to serve in a dual-role capacity as a Multi-Site Maintenance Technician (80%) and Traveling Installation Specialist (20%). This position requires extensive regional travel between company locations in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana, along with periodic extended travel throughout North America to support precast installation projects. A company pickup truck, trailer, and tools will be provided for company work. Employees must maintain reliable personal transportation for daily use; mileage reimbursement will be provided for approved personal vehicle usage. Primary Role (80%): Multi-Site Maintenance Technician Travel Requirements Frequent travel between seven Tribute locations, including: Four Wisconsin Cemetery Locations: • Milwaukee, WI, • Green Bay, WI, • Wausau, WI, • Hartland, WI Corporate Office - Hartland, WI Precast Concrete Plants: • Freeport, IL, • Ashley, IN Key Responsibilities • Perform building and facility maintenance across all locations, • Complete general handyman tasks and site improvements, • Conduct building repairs and remodeling projects, • Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on equipment, • Support larger-scale facility improvement projects at precast plants, • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance-related issues independently, • Maintain organized tools, equipment, and trailers, • Ensure work is performed safely and efficiently, • Knowledge and ability to perform landscaping / outdoor tasks Compensation (Maintenance Portion) $30.00 / hour Mileage reimbursement provided for approved personal vehicle use. Secondary Role (20%): Traveling Installation Specialist In addition to maintenance responsibilities, this position will support Tribute Precast Systems installation projects throughout North America. Travel Requirements • Project durations typically range from 2–4 weeks, • Travel may include commercial flights or long-distance driving, • At times, the specialist may travel independently to assist clients with:, • Small installations, • Technical support, • Field adjustments Installation Specialist Responsibilities • Assist with all installation, construction, and labor projects for Tribute precast, and construction contracts, • Ensure specifications and safety standards are strictly followed, • Help keep projects on schedule and within budget, • Coordinate with the Construction Manager prior to job start, including:, • Ordering materials, • Arranging crane services and operators, • Scheduling labor and subcontractors, • Provide lead labor support on job sites, • Launch daily work activities and secure jobsites at day’s end, • Maintain clean, organized, and punch-complete projects, • Perform quality control inspections, • Ensure materials and equipment are properly stocked onsite, • Communicate project progress to the Construction Manager, • Assist in enforcing safety, health, and environmental compliance, • Help resolve construction progress conflicts Required Knowledge, Skills & Certifications (Some certifications may be obtained after hire.) • OSHA 30 Certification and SST Card, • Valid Forklift Certification, • Master Rigger Certification (preferred), • Valid Driver’s License, • 3+ years architectural and/or construction experience, • Ability to read and interpret drawings and construction plans, • Familiarity with safety rules and operating procedures, • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Project, Outlook), • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Physical Requirements • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, • Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl, • Navigate full job sites, including stairs and elevated structures, • Dexterity to operate tools and computers, • Ability to drive a truck with trailer, • Ability to travel via commercial airline or vehicle for extended periods Compensation (Installation Specialist Portion) $40.00 / hour while on-site (Driving or flying): $20/ hour All travel expenses paid while on installation assignments.
