Job DescriptionJob Title: Analytical ChemistJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Analytical Chemist to perform routine and specialized analytical chemical testing on a variety of samples including raw materials, in-process batches, finished goods, and more. This role supports development projects, new product evaluations, and method troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical chemistry and a commitment to maintaining high standards of laboratory practice. Responsibilities • Conduct routine and specialized analytical chemical testing on products submitted to the lab, including analysis of raw materials, in-process batches, finished goods, bulk samples, water samples, cleaning samples, and stability samples., • Perform specialized analytical testing as directed by the Laboratory Manager for development projects, new products, method troubleshooting, and Out of Specification investigations., • Properly document all results according to Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions, and review the work of other laboratory personnel as required., • Learn and practice the use of laboratory instrumentation such as gas chromatography (GC), High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), UV/Visible Spectrophotometry, and FTIR., • Conduct analytical work in support of cleaning validations and engineering trials., • Compile and summarize data as required., • Perform general housekeeping and glassware cleaning., • Communicate effectively with management, coworkers, suppliers, and customers, both verbally and in writing., • Perform other assignments as requested by the Lab Manager., • Maintain and promote strong work ethics and uphold all company policies and procedures.Essential Skills, • Proficiency in HPLC and GC techniques., • Strong foundation in analytical chemistry., • Experience with laboratory instrumentation including gas chromatography, High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography, UV/Visible Spectrophotometry, and FTIR., • Ability to document results accurately according to standard procedures.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • BS Degree in Chemistry or a related Laboratory Sciences degree.
