If you’re an experienced Maintenance Mechanic who prefers longer shifts, fewer workdays, and built‑in overtime, this role offers a schedule that actually works in your favor. You’ll support a clean, modern food manufacturing facility while enjoying extended time off and a predictable rotation. Why This Schedule Works • 12‑hour shifts = fewer workdays, • Built‑in overtime every other week, • 78 additional days off per year (not including PTO or holidays), • Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot production lines and facility equipment, • Complete daily work orders and preventive maintenance tasks, • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, • Coordinate with production, vendors, and contractors to minimize downtime, • Prepare parts and materials needed for scheduled and emergency repairs, • Document repairs and maintenance activities accurately, • Identify and support process improvement opportunitiesWhat You Bring, • Experience with industrial machine maintenance and troubleshooting, • Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills, • Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, • Ability to read blueprints and schematics, • Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and general facility maintenanceExperience Requirements, • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, • Experience with similar production equipment is a plusWork Environment, • Food manufacturing (milk plant) with high sanitation and safety standards, • Clean, well‑maintained facility — hairnets and gowns required, • Collaborative night maintenance team focused on reliability and efficiencySchedule Details (3rd Shift | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM), • Shift A: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday + every other Saturday, • Shift B: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday + every other Saturday, • Rotating 3‑day and 4‑day workweeks, • 36 hours one week / 48 hours the next = built‑in OTWhy Mechanics Stay, • More total days off than a traditional 5‑day schedule, • Predictable rotation — plan your life, not just your workweek, • Extra annual earnings from scheduled overtime rotating shift, but has built in OT every other week. They work 36 hours one week, 48 hours another week and so on. With that in mind, if someone is making $33/hr they are actually making $36.30 on the year if it is averaged out. They also will get to spend 78 extra days off from the schedule. That is 78 extra days to spend time with their families, not including PTO and holiday pay as well!
