Job Description Job Title: Production Worker – START ASAP Job Description This entry-level production role involves working in a fast-paced, physical environment to support manufacturing and packaging operations in the CR department. You will receive training to perform repetitive tasks such as handling materials, operating basic tools, and assisting with production lines to ensure products move efficiently through the facility. Responsibilities • Handle and move materials, including dumping jugs into larger containers in a safe and efficient manner., • Move boxes and other packaged products throughout the production area as needed., • Manage and monitor production lines to help keep product flowing and meet daily output goals., • Use a power drill and other basic hand tools as required for production and packaging tasks., • Perform repetitive production and general labor duties while maintaining attention to quality and safety., • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and use of required protective equipment., • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to support smooth production operations., • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift., • Comfort working in a physical, labor-intensive role with repetitive tasks., • Basic experience using a power drill or willingness to learn under supervision., • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures in a manufacturing environment., • Reliability to work the scheduled hours of 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays., • Previous experience in general labor, production, manufacturing, or packaging is helpful but not required., • Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Work Environment The role is based in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility, where temperatures may vary with the seasons. The workday typically runs from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts as needed. The position involves standing, walking, lifting, and performing repetitive motions for most of the shift while working around production lines and packaging equipment. Steel toe boots are required as part of the safety dress code, and additional personal protective equipment may be provided as needed to support a safe working environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
