JOB OVERVIEW Reporting to the Director, Digital Transformation Enablement (DTE), the Change Management Lead fulfills a key role in supporting the successful adoption and sustainment of digital transformation and other major technology initiatives across the ACGME. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and driving organizational change management (OCM) activities that ensure digital initiatives result in quality solutions, positive user experiences, and achievement of desired business outcomes. Focusing on the people side of change, the Change Management Lead works closely with project teams, project managers, business leaders, IS members, Communications department staff, and internal and external stakeholders to drive awareness, readiness, adoption, and sustained behavior change while minimizing resistance related to new technologies, processes, and ways of working. In the conduct of these activities, the Change Management Lead ensures change initiatives are defined, planned, executed, and reinforced effectively to support the realization of transformation benefits across the organization. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Change Enablement Strategy, • Develop, execute, and support change management strategies and plans aligned with digital transformation roadmap and initiatives, including readiness, adoption, and reinforcement activities, ensuring activities are effectively synchronized with overall project goals., • Support the development of repeatable change enablement processes and tools to be applied consistently across initiatives., • Identify and proactively address potential resistance through targeted engagement, communication, and reinforcement strategies., • Assist with planning, coordinating, and managing change management tasks and deliverables in alignment with project plans and timelines., • Partner with the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure change management activities are integrated into project plans and milestones, enabling seamless execution and monitoring of progress., • Maintain a change risk and resistance log, escalating issues as needed to proactively address barriers to adoption and sustainment., • Support implementation of change management methodologies such as Prosci, ADKAR to drive structured and effective change adoption., • Communications, • Partner with the Communications team as well as IS and project teams to support the development and execution of change-related communication plans, ensuring messaging is consistent and impactful., • Draft and coordinate review of change-related content including key messages, FAQs, toolkits, and stakeholder updates., • Tailor messaging and delivery approaches for diverse internal and external stakeholder audiences., • Assist with the creation and quality review of communication materials to guarantee accuracy and clarity in all change management deliverables., • Stakeholder Engagement, • Partner with business units and project teams to identify stakeholder groups and define engagement strategies throughout the change lifecycle., • Identify, activate, and support the formation and facilitation of Change networks advisory groups, work groups, and focus groups for internal and external stakeholders to enhance communication and advocacy for transformation initiatives across the organization, incorporating stakeholder feedback and promoting inclusive participation., • Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities, such as workshops, briefings, and feedback sessions, to foster collaboration and gather critical input throughout the change process., • Serve as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders on change impacts and adoption strategies., • Maintain a calendar of stakeholder engagements and manage meeting logistics to ensure all relevant parties are informed and involved., • Training and Enablement, • Collaborate with the Training Lead and project teams to align training strategies with change objectives, as well as to support the development and delivery of training materials, ensuring stakeholders are well-prepared for new processes and technologies., • Contribute to training plans, timelines, and reinforcement strategies to support sustained adoption., • Monitor training participation and feedback to inform continuous improvement., • Assist in facilitating training sessions and enablement activities to promote understanding and readiness among impacted audiences., • Measurement and Reporting, • Support the development and administration of surveys and feedback mechanisms to assess readiness, adoption, and sentiment., • Track and analyze qualitative and quantitative change metrics and KPIs., • Prepare change management status updates and insights for project teams and leadership., • Assist in defining and tracking adoption metrics and KPIs to measure the success of change initiatives and inform continuous improvement efforts., • Provide regular status updates to the Director, DTE, PMO, and IS leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the transformation journey., • Track milestones and support recognition activities to celebrate progress and reinforce positive behaviors., • Project Collaboration, • Work closely with the DTE team, PMO, and project teams to integrate change activities into overall project plans., • Identify risks and issues related to change adoption and escalate as appropriate., • Ensure alignment with established project management and change management standards., • Perform other duties as assigned to advance the objectives of change management and digital transformation across the organization. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY None QUALIFICATIONS Minimum • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Organizational Development, or a related field. Master’s degree a plus., • Seven or more years of experience in change management, digital transformation, or related roles., • Demonstrated experience supporting technology-driven change initiatives in complex organizations with a minimum of three years supporting organizational change management for large-scale digital transformation initiatives., • Demonstrated experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments., • Strong knowledge of change management principles and methodologies with working knowledge of change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, Kotter)., • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills., • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams., • Strong project coordination, organizational, and analytical skills with experience using data to inform decisions and improvements., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred • Certification in one or more change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, Kotter, AIM, CMP)., • Familiarity with user experience (UX) and human-centered design principles, • Experience supporting technology enabled change initiatives in healthcare, education, or accreditation environments., • Experience working with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies. WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS This position is based in a typical office environment with no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands. Most of the work performed is normally done in the ACGME office and/or home office with the typical physical demands of an office environment.
