Job DescriptionSocial & Digital Media Campaign Specialist Company: American Art Clay Company (AMACO brent) Location: Indianapolis, IN | Reports To: Marketing Manager A day in this role Morning might start in our open office near the ceramic studio, storyboarding a TikTok about glaze effects. By late morning, you’re scheduling Instagram and Pinterest posts in Sprout Social and Klaviyo, aligning captions and visuals to our brand voice. After lunch, you sit in on a vendor call to review paid media performance, then meet with our Education Coordinator to finalize the AMACO Create content calendar. You wrap the day polishing a short-form product video, responding to community questions, and compiling quick insights for tomorrow’s stand-up. What you’ll do Content Creation & Management • Plan, create, and publish platform-specific content across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Klaviyo, and more., • Capture original product photos and short-form videos; develop infographics; and partner with design/video to deliver polished, on-brand visuals., • Maintain a consistent brand tone, voice, and terminology across all digital touchpoints., • Track industry trends and best practices—especially within the ceramics community—and bring fresh ideas to the table., • Use scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Klaviyo) to manage calendars and releases. Campaign Coordination & Collaboration, • Partner with the marketing team on launches, promotions, and integrated social campaigns that support sales., • Work closely with the Education Coordinator to turn themes into a monthly/quarterly AMACO Create content calendar., • Promote and document events, trade shows, and exhibitions across social channels., • Support the Marketing Manager with paid social advertising to expand product visibility and drive conversions. Analytics & Community, • Monitor conversations, competitor activity, and trends; reply to comments and inquiries promptly., • Report on KPIs and campaign performance; share insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. What you bring Education & Experience, • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field., • 2+ years running social media for a brand, with hands-on photography and short-form videography experience., • Background in manufacturing, arts, or consumer goods is a plus. Skills & Attributes, • Google Ads certifications., • Deep knowledge of major social platforms and how to tailor content to each., • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills paired with a sharp visual sensibility., • Comfort working both independently and cross-functionally; able to juggle deadlines and multiple projects., • Open to feedback and committed to learning., • Bonus: familiarity with ceramics, art, or maker communities.
