Job DescriptionSalary: Based on Experience Job Summary: Old Dominion Healthcare Services is a specialized construction support company focused on building containment systems in active healthcare facilities and high-demand environments. Our work is hands-on and detail-driven, installing ICRA containment systems and Temporary Hot Aisle Containment (HAC) solutions that protect patients, staff, equipment, and ongoing operations. We take pride in safety, precision, and quality craftsmanship in the field. The Installer Technician is a hands-on field role responsible for installing, modifying, and removing containment systems in active healthcare facilities and data center environments. This position requires working from drawings, following strict safety and infection control protocols, and delivering clean, professional installations with minimal disruption to facility operations. Major Duties and Responsibilities The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing, and other duties will be assigned based on the positions role within the business unit. • Install ICRA panel containment systems to control dust, debris, and noise in active healthcare environments, • Install, support, and remove Temporary Hot Aisle Containment (HAC) systems for commissioning and data center operations, • Read and interpret drawings, site plans, and installation instructions, • Ensure all containment systems are airtight, secure, and compliant with infection control and safety standards, • Coordinate work with project managers, site contacts, and facility staff, • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites at all times, • Perform installation, removal, and adjustments of temporary containment systems as project requirements change, • Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and site-specific rules, • Represent ODHS professionally while working in sensitive, occupied environments Minimum Qualifications • Hands-on construction, installation, or trade experience required, • Ability to read drawings or follow detailed installation instructions, • Proficient with hand tools and power tools, • Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and elevated work areas, • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites as needed Preferred Qualifications • Carpentry experience preferred (commercial, construction, or installation-related), • Experience working in healthcare facilities or data centers, • Bilingual (English/Spanish), • Familiarity with infection control or containment systems Physical Requirements Physical requirements include, but are not limited to, the following: • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., • Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, kneel, squat, stretch, and climb throughout the workday, • Comfortable working at heights and around mechanical equipment, • Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions, • Must be able to wear required PPE, • Comfortable working in environments with dust, fumes, gases, chemicals, and loud noise, • Ability to travel daily to multiple job sites, • Ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively in person, by phone, or via video Note: Offers will be made based on candidates' qualifications relevant to the position.
