Job Description Job Title: Finish Grinder (Grinder/Polisher) Location: Newport, MN A manufacturing company in Newport, MN is seeking a skilled Finish Grinder to join its production team. This hands-on position involves finishing stainless steel components to high quality standards using a range of grinding and polishing tools. Key Responsibilities: • Operate grinding and polishing equipment, including belt sanders, disc grinders, and finishing tools., • Restore stainless steel welds to a #4 finish., • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure part accuracy and consistency., • Inspect finished workpieces for defects and deviations., • Accurately track materials used and time spent on tasks., • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals., • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent., • At least one year of experience in grinding, polishing, or metal finishing., • Proficiency with hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment., • Capable of lifting 15–50 lbs and performing repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods. Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–3:00pm; Friday, 6:00am–12:00pm. Pay range: $22.00–$27.00 per hour. Full-time, on-site position.
