Responsible for approximately 20-24 children, 4-5 years of age, with a co-teacher., • Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment., • Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning, • Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child., • Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn., • Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their childrens latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions., • Support your centers success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement., • 2-4 years of professional teaching experience preferred. At least 24 months of professional teaching experience preferred., • Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred., • High school diploma required., • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)., • CPR and First Aid certification required., • Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role. Must have an active Colorado Shines account with preservice courses completed and up-to-date., • Colorado Shines (PDIS) Credential 3.0 Level 2 (two) or higher required if no ECE degree, • Federal, State, and local background checks are required., • Must be able to work a Full-Time Schedule (5) days per week. No exceptions.
