As the Senior Beverage Manager for Arkansas, you will support the Beverage Director in executing and maintaining innovative, cost-effective, and compelling beverage programs across our diverse portfolio of restaurants. You’ll work closely with Bar Managers and teams to ensure our beverage offerings complement our culinary excellence, enhance guest experiences, and align with our commitment to quality and hospitality. Key Responsibilities • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal beverage service laws and regulations., • Support bar design and setup during new restaurant openings., • Assist in sourcing local supplier partnerships and setting up initial beverage inventory systems and cost control sheets., • Help recruit, train, and onboard bartenders and service staff in beverage knowledge and execution., • Support the creation and upkeep of beverage training materials and manuals., • Collaborate with the Beverage Director and Bar Managers to develop cocktail menus that balance creativity, functionality, and cost-efficiency., • Support the execution and evolution of tap programs, mocktail menus, wine lists, and specialty beverage offerings., • Participate in monthly beverage P&L reviews and assist in identifying cost-saving and revenue-enhancing opportunities., • Provide support in forecasting, budgeting, and setting training schedules in collaboration with Bar Managers and GMs., • Assist in facilitating beverage brand partnerships and event sponsorships, including company-wide events., • Help execute charitable initiatives and campaigns that align with our social responsibility goals, including support for Ben’s Friends., • Provide temporary support at restaurant locations as needed., • Notify appropriate departments (e.g., Controller) of any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner., • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills in fast-paced environments, • Experience in beverage programming, including cost control, menu creation, and supplier negotiation, • Knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, • Ability to travel to various locations and work evenings/weekends as needed, • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills, • Competency in designing and facilitating training programs, • Budgeting and inventory management experience, • Must maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times, • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 45 lbs., and work in varied temperatures, • Flexible to work nights and weekends when necessary, based on business and staffing needs.
