Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description Join our team as a Warehouse Worker, where you will be responsible for packaging bundles by placing metal strapping around materials, ensuring the protection of customers' materials with paper corner protectors, and using packaging equipment to secure the bundles. You will verify that correct sizes were produced and utilize material handling equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and side loaders. Responsibilities • Package bundles using metal strapping around the width and length of materials., • Properly place paper corner protectors as per specifications., • Use packaging equipment to tighten metal strapping., • Check parts to ensure correct size was produced., • Operate material handling equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and side loaders., • Read work order instructions, safety, and policy manuals., • General labor and material handling experience., • Ability to read measurements accurately., • Forklift operation proficiency., • Experience operating forklifts, tow motors, and overhead cranes., • Proficiency with hand and power tools., • Safety-oriented mindset. Work Environment This position offers a base pay rate with an additional shift differential for third shift employees. Third shift hours are 9pm-7am, Monday to Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays. Employees may be required to work mandatory overtime on the third Friday of each month. The facility is very clean, organized, and equipped with large industrial fans to ensure a comfortable work environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wooster, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
