Description We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to support the planning, coordination, and execution of material movement from receipt to production. This position is responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory control, material handling, shipping and receiving, and coordination with other departments to meet production and scheduling requirements. Primary Responsibilities: • Plan, schedule, and manage the flow of materials from warehouse receipt to production., • Develop raw material and scheduling requirements based on engineering specifications and production schedules., • Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to coordinate timely material movement., • Perform daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and staging of materials., • Maintain accurate inventory records and apply appropriate min/max inventory levels., • Update and manage inventory data in the warehouse management system or relevant database., • Conduct and support annual physical inventories and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy., • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently., • Load and unload trucks and other vehicles during shipping and receiving operations., • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Basic Qualifications • TS/SCI w/Poly clearance is required., • High school diploma or equivalent., • 5+ years of relevant experience in materials management, warehouse operations, or production planning., • Working knowledge of material movement, inventory control, and production scheduling processes., • Familiarity with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and materials management systems., • Experience with warehousing operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials., • Ability to interpret engineering specifications and production schedules to determine material needs., • Effective verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with team members and other departments., • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in tracking material flow and maintaining records., • Ability to work independently under limited supervision and solve moderately complex material planning challenges. Preferred Qualifications • Associate degree or vocational training in supply chain, logistics, or a related field., • Proficiency with ERP or MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)., • Knowledge of material selection for production based on performance, cost, and application., • Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment., • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment with high material throughput., • Exposure to lean inventory or just-in-time (JIT) methodologies., • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements in material planning or warehousing.
