Job Description:\n\n Physical Therapist I $50.89 - $ 71.10 Job Summary: Responsible for the evaluation of patients referred for Physical Therapy (PT), formulation of a plan of care, and administration of PT treatments. The staff Physical Therapist shall interact with all hospital departments, and medical staff. Maintain the highest degree of confidentiality in all areas involving patients and their related hospital business. Conduct hospital business in an ethical and lawful manner, and will report any knowledge of real or potential fraud or abuse according to the NIHD Compliance Code of Conduct. Abide by the NIHD Personnel, Payroll Policies and Procedures. Abide by Departmental Policies and Procedures, and standards of performance and conduct. Job Relationships:Directly responsible to Director of Rehabilitation ServicesSupervises Physical Therapist Assistants, Rehab Aides and other support staff as required by California State LawWorks closely with physicians, patients, families, other staff, nursing, other hospital departments, and other referral agencies Physical Hazards: Works in the general hospital setting. May be exposed to blood, body fluids, or tissues as well as patients in varying stages of infectious states.
