Our client is looking for a Pharmacist Manager to join their branch in Leighton Buzzard on a fixed term 6-month contract dispensing approximately 8000 items per month. Ideally you will work full time, 36 hours per week over 5 days but will consider 30 hours per week over 4 days if required, both with 1 in 4 Saturdays. The branch is open Monday to Saturday (9am to 9pm) & Sunday (10am to 4pm) so early and late shifts are available (applicants must be flexible to work both shift patterns as required, however no Sundays are involved). Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist Manager • Supply prescriptions, deliver a range of NHS and Private services and provide healthcare advice to customers., • Play an active role in a charities support programme giving advice to people in the community at risk of, or living with, cancer, heart disease, and diabetes., • Lead, train, and develop colleagues., • Use a planning system to ensure pharmacy staff are available, so you’re always there to meet customers’ needs.
