The Private Client Practice The Private Client team advises on the full spectrum of domestic and international wealth management issues. Working closely with colleagues across tax, corporate, real estate, and disputes teams, the practice offers holistic advice that integrates private and commercial interests. The team’s expertise includes: • Succession planning and asset protection, • International tax and trust structuring, • Estate administration and probate, • Family governance and family office advisory, • Philanthropy and charitable foundations, • Real estate and investment structuring, • Contentious trusts and estates matters Clients include ultra-high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, family offices, trustees, and financial institutions managing private wealth portfolios. The Opportunity The firm is seeking an accomplished Private Client Partner or Senior Lawyer to join its London office. This is an opportunity to lead and grow a thriving practice within an ambitious, globally integrated firm that places strategic importance on its private wealth offering. You will play a central role in developing the firm’s private client strategy, nurturing key relationships, and advising on complex, often cross-border matters that demand technical excellence and discretion. Key Responsibilities: • Client Advisory and Matter Management, • Provide strategic legal advice to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and fiduciaries on complex domestic and international matters., • Advise on succession planning, family governance, trust and estate structuring, and cross-border tax considerations., • Oversee and manage multi-jurisdictional matters in collaboration with the firm’s global network., • Maintain a focus on delivering pragmatic, bespoke solutions that align with clients’ personal and commercial objectives., • Business Development and Leadership, • Lead and grow client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser and key point of contact for strategic clients., • Contribute to the development and execution of the firm’s private client strategy, including identifying new markets and opportunities., • Collaborate with partners across other practice areas—such as corporate, tax, real estate, and disputes—to deliver seamless integrated service., • Mentor, support, and develop junior lawyers and associates, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth. Practice Management and Governance • Ensure the highest standards of technical accuracy, confidentiality, and risk management., • Contribute to internal knowledge initiatives, thought leadership, and client publications., • Play an active role in firm leadership, contributing to strategy discussions, diversity initiatives, and practice development.
