Technical Engineer Location: Aberdeen Office & Site-Based Join a respected civil engineering organisation known for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across the region. As a Technical Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in turning engineering challenges into smart, efficient, and safe solutions. Working closely with project teams on the ground and in the office, you’ll help ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of safety, quality, and technical excellence. What You’ll Do Drive Technical Excellence • Prepare, manage, and record technical drawings to support both office and site operations., • Assist in selecting engineering techniques, methods, and procedures to deliver high-quality project outcomes., • Support the development of engineering solutions, including temporary works., • Produce project-specific RAMS, construction phase plans, utility drawings, RFIs, and as-built Health & Safety files., • Act as a direct point of contact between the company and clients., • Attend design meetings, progress reviews, and onsite discussions., • Liaise with clients, local authorities, and third parties to progress works efficiently., • Take ownership of all Health & Safety requirements within your area of responsibility., • Ensure work aligns with company H&S objectives, risk assessments, and best practices., • Report accidents, incidents, or near misses promptly., • Support environmental compliance, including pollution prevention and energy-saving practices., • Promote a “right first time” approach to quality, ensuring work meets ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards. Who You’ll Work With You will report to the Senior Technical Engineer and collaborate regularly with: Directors, Contract Managers, the Engineering Manager, Gangers/Foremen, Site Engineers, Plant and Planning teams, and other internal departments. What You Bring Essential • CSCS Card, • Full UK Driving Licence, • Strong AutoCAD skills, • Strong experience in civil engineering/site works, • Knowledge of CDM Regulations, • First Aid qualification, • SMSTS, • Temporary Works Coordinator experience, • Career progression with support from experienced senior engineers, • Ongoing training and funded CPD, • Opportunity to work across varied and impactful civil engineering projects, • Supportive, collaborative working environment, • Mix of office and site work for a varied and engaging workload Join a respected, growing team and play a key role in delivering essential infrastructure across the region.
