Bristol Water is looking for experienced Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join us on a permanent basis, you will be on £26,100 per annum. You will delivering high-quality grounds maintenance across our sites. Working in teams of two, you'll carry out a wide range of planned, reactive, and emergency works supporting our Grounds Maintenance Supervisor. What you'll be doing: Soft & hard landscaping, planting & reinstatement Cutting grass, vegetation clearance and hedge trimming Tree work (basic felling under 15"), scrub clearance & winter works Small civils: fencing, gates, paths, concrete & minor repairs Drainage, culverts, ditches & watercourse maintenance Emergency response incl. flooding, storm damage, snow & ice clearance Using and maintaining machinery, tools & equipment Completing digital job records, photos & reports Working safely at all times, supporting RAMS & toolbox talks What We Are Looking For: Experience in soft & hard landscaping or grounds maintenance Competent with mowers, hedge cutters, brush cutters & chainsaws Experience in fencing, small civils & general repairs Strong health & safety awareness Computer literate (emails, forms, MS Office) Full clean UK driving licence + trailer towing entitlement PA1/PA6 spraying licence desirable You'll be: Reliable, self-motivated, safety-focused and a strong team player with good communication skills.
