The Global Security Technology & AI Specialist will play a key role in driving the implementation and compliance of Global Security policies and guidance and will develop and mature key elements of core Global Security disciplines consistent with local threats and risks utilizing technology and AI. This person will work with Global Security discipline leaders Region Security Managers technology teams and other Risk Management sub functions on security and risk issues. Your key responsibilities Working with Global Security discipline leaders Region Security Managers and technology teams the role will entail involvement with but not limited to the following activities: Security Technology and Operations Support To understand and assist in the technologies supporting threat and risk monitoring business resilience physical security insider threat travel security meeting & event security and executive protection. Support the technology measuring compliance of EYs Global Security Policy. This includes but not limited to the following: • Meeting with function owners to understand business requirements, • Collaborating with function owners to identify suitable technology solutions considering both third party software packages and custom development of internal solutions, • Translating business requirements into technical specifications and user stories, • Assisting in the management of development efforts and the deployment of business solutions, • Assisting with the configuration and ongoing maintenance of deployed business solutions, • Assist Global Security Leader in identifying where processes can be enhanced by use of AI, • Serve as subject matter expert representing Global Security on calls with technical teams including making certain that proposed AI solutions are fit for purpose and using the most appropriate technology, • Troubleshoot issues reported by users and work with technology teams to resolve, • Identify and evaluate opportunities to embed AI into security workflows for predictive analysis pattern detection and process automation Physical Security Technology Enablement To assist the Physical Security Lead in developing deploying and managing processes with supporting technology to safeguard people and physical assets at EY offices. This includes but not limited to the following: • Explain and interpret physical security polices and standards to a wide variety of audiences, • Support region resources in applying policy and standard recommendations to new offices, • Support technical teams to ensure that technical solutions are meeting policy requirements, • Supervise the annual physical security self-assessments and detailed assessments, • Develop reporting based on the results from physical assessments Analytical Responsibilities: Individual will be responsible for collaborating within the EYs Global Security team Region teams and with other functions to further strengthen EYs internal and external security. To accomplish this it will be important for this role to analyse the business environment geographical variations security requirements and stakeholder expectations. Supervision Responsibilities: Individual must be a self-starter capable of readily managing and switching between multiple tasks and working with minimal supervision. Given the nature of the role flexibility in schedule is required. The role currently does not contemplate any direct supervision of others. Skills and attributes for success Technical Skills • Familiar with Agile and modified Agile development processes, • Ability to read and understand basic source code Proficient in Archer or other EGRC software, • Familiar with Graph API Power Flows Azure and working with Microsoft 365 products, • Familiar in using third party APIs to interact with external systems to pass and retrieve data and trigger events, • Proficient with reading API documentation from third parties to understand what functionality is available and how it can be accessed, • Highly developed Microsoft Teams skills including integration with other Microsoft 365 components, • Some experience with User Interface / User Experience design for simplicity and ease of use is desired AI & Automation Awareness • Understanding of how to use AI to streamline manual processes, • Understanding of how AI/ML can be applied in security and resilience domains Business & Communication Skills • Desire to understand EYs culture and business requirements and translating those to technical requirements to deliver a service which is both appropriate and of the highest quality, • Able to manage time independently balance multiple tasks and prioritize risks across various disciplines, • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical ideas in plain languages, • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with the flexibility to respond quickly according to circumstances, • Innovative highly motivated very positive and with both the ambition and drive to succeed and the pragmatism to develop workable solutions where EYs unique structure requires, • An exceptional team player Other Requirements: • Strong skills in written and spoken English are required, • Experience with either Azure DevOps or Jira, • Knowledge of Archer GRC software, • Knowledge of Everbridge products including Visual Command Center, • ISO/IEC 27001, • Experience or interest in physical security resilience travel security or threat and Intel domains. Job Requirements Education: To qualify candidates must have a minimum of a relevant bachelors degree. Experience: Currently acting as a technology specialist with at least 4 years experience with a preference given to those with experience in a dynamic security environment. Preferred if this has been within a large national international or multi-national organization. Certification Requirements: A recognized security or development qualification such as PSP or Microsoft MCSP is preferred but not mandatory.
