EQUANS is looking for a Technical Supervisor working on our Rotherham Schools contract. This is a permanent full‑time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday 9 am–5 pm) with a competitive salary and benefits package. • Report to the Technical Services Manager and ensure statutory and contractual compliance across 14 schools., • Demonstrate flexibility, efficiency and the ability to respond to changing business requirements., • Build effective customer relationships and act as the first point of escalation for technical service delivery., • Ensure compliance is accurately documented and consistently applied across all schools., • Work under pressure; take ownership of problems and resolve them to their conclusion., • Provide a safe and healthy working environment for all employees., • Comply with all EQUANS policies and procedures and promote EQUANS values., • Deliver continuous improvement., • Manage a team of engineers to ensure efficient, timely and high‑standard in‑house delivery., • Maintain customer‑focused service delivery and contractual and procedural compliance., • Maintain high levels of Mechanical, Electrical and other technical disciplines in a Hard FM environment., • Maintain accurate asset management and support lifecycle planning and delivery., • Undertake RP/AP roles as required by the contract., • Offer technical support as required to the business., • Maintain statutory and contractual obligations and accurately document them., • Manage Preventive Maintenance Programme (PPM) to meet contractual and statutory timescales., • Monitor and assess ongoing facility performance, identify additional works., • Manage statutory inspections and ensure compliance., • Conduct Health and Safety audits and follow‑up reporting., • Manage staff – monitoring, induction and actions., • Manage sub‑contractors, hold regular meetings., • Maintain records on SharePoint., • Build relationships with business partners, suppliers and subcontractors., • Prioritise workloads and meet deadlines., • Understand Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems., • Administer and complete relevant paperwork., • Measure work against plans, read technical diagrams, communicate, present and report technical information., • Plan and deliver projects to customer specification., • Implement changes to improve service, operational quality and customer satisfaction., • Experience in a Technical field – Electrical, Mechanical, Gas, Water, etc., • Working knowledge of support services such as Admin, Finance., • Experience in People Management, Sickness, Performance, Risk Management and compliance., • Desirable: previous experience with CAD., • Experience managing Sub‑Contractors and maintaining standards., • Experience responding to bespoke client/operational requests for information., • Good working knowledge of standard IT packages., • Excellent communication and customer service skills., • Well‑organised and efficient., • Self‑motivated and able to work on own initiative., • Excellent oral and written communication skills., • Experience of analysing data and reporting writing., • Minimum IOSH Working Safely., • Well‑versed in statutory compliance and reporting., • Experience of Asset Management and CAFM systems., • Experience of Life Cycle management and requirements., • Experience working and adhering to budgets, offering cost‑effective solutions., • 24 days annual leave., • Life Cover equivalent to 1.5 times annual salary., • Employee discount shopping schemes on major brands and retailers., • Gym membership discounts., • Cycle to Work scheme., • Holiday purchase scheme., • 2 corporate social responsibility days per year., • Broad range of learning opportunities, including professional qualifications and training., • Attractive Employee Referral Rewards Scheme., • Access to employee networks such as WiE, RISE, LGBTQI+, Working Parents, YPN, and Disability Network. #J-18808-Ljbffr
