Reporting to the Electrical Authorising Engineer (A.E.), the Low Voltage Authorised Person (LVAP) will support the delivery of several M&E construction projects across the central and north regions. They will work with the construction management resources on the sites and specifically oversee the electrical safety and quality elements including providing Approved Person (AP) governance and sign off. The suitable candidate for this role must have prior experience of working on £1m+ electrical projects in occupied buildings, preferably hospital energy centres, ideally as a Principal Contractor. This will include proven experience with lighting, Building Management Systems (BMS), HV/LV and connection to electricity distribution systems. Experience of working in boiler plant rooms, and combined heat and power plants will be beneficial.
