Its work spans tax structuring for infrastructure investment, capital markets, finance, and real estate transactions. The Role This position focuses on transactional tax rather than purely structuring work. The successful candidate will be involved in drafting and negotiating transaction terms and documents, as well as providing tax advisory services across a broad range of areas. Key Responsibilities • Advising on tax aspects of private M&A transactions, including structuring and implementation for financial sponsors, corporates, management teams, and finance providers., • Providing tax advice on financing, real estate transactions, restructurings, and management equity incentives., • Advising on IPOs, fundraisings, and capital markets transactions., • Collaborating with colleagues across related sub-groups (Asset Management and Incentives & Remuneration) where appropriate., • Managing transactions effectively, maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering commercially driven solutions., • Potential opportunities for client or overseas law firm secondments. Person Specification • Outstanding academic record., • England & Wales qualified solicitor (3–4 PQE) with experience from a City or equivalent law firm., • Demonstrable experience in transactional tax., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Proactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple matters simultaneously., • Collaborative team player committed to the firm’s values and culture.
