Credit Control Team Lead (12-Month FTC) \n Cambridge (hybrid) \n £45,000-£55,000 per annum \n We are seeking an experienced Credit Team Lead to join a dynamic finance shared services environment on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong people leadership skills and a passion for delivering operational excellence within an Invoice-to-Cash function. \n As the Credit Team Lead, you will play a critical role in driving service performance, developing team capability, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and embedding continuous improvement initiatives across the function. \n What You'll Be Doing \n\n • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Invoice-to-Cash team, setting clear goals and performance objectives.\n, • Ensure excellent service delivery across regional stakeholders by managing workloads, priorities and team resources effectively.\n, • Build strong relationships with internal customers and key stakeholders, proactively resolving issues and driving service improvements. \n, • Support continuous improvement initiatives, helping embed best practice and identify process efficiencies. \n, • Monitor KPIs and service levels, ensuring processes are standardised, documented and consistently delivered. \n, • Maintain compliance with company policies, legal requirements and financial controls to minimise business risk. \n, • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records, escalating any areas of concern. \n, • Oversee key activities including:\n \n, • Accounts receivable management\n, • Cash application\n, • Collections and dispute resolution\n, • Customer relationship management\n, • Intercompany and related-party invoicing and reporting [Aveva I2C Team Lead | Word]\n \n\n What We're Looking For \n Essential Experience & Skills \n\n • Previous experience within an Invoice-to-Cash (I2C) environment.\n, • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. \n, • Strong understanding of finance systems and business processes. \n, • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. \n, • Ability to work both strategically and at a detailed operational level.\n, • Experience interpreting and managing operational and control risks. \n, • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel, alongside Oracle experience. \n, • High levels of integrity and professionalism. \n\n Desirable \n\n • Experience leading teams within a shared services environment. \n, • Additional language skills. \n, • Accounting, Finance or Business Administration qualifications.\n\n Why Apply? \n This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact within a growing finance organisation, leading a key function responsible for optimising cash flow, enhancing customer experience and driving operational efficiency.
