Zenith are looking to recruit an experienced AI & Microsoft Training Specialist. In this role you will design, deliver and continuously improve high-impact learning experiences that drive measurable outcomes for learners and employer partners. Reporting to the Apprenticeship Manager, you will play a key role in delivering and enhancing AI and automation apprenticeship pathways, including: \n \n\n • Level 3 AI Integration Digital Support Technician\n, • Level 4 AI & Automation Practitioner\n\n \n Within the role, you will work closely with the wider apprenticeship delivery team to ensure high-quality teaching, learning and assessment. You will enable learners and employers to adopt Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and AI-driven ways of working, translating technical capability into practical, real-world impact. \n \n Responsibilities \n \n AI Programme & Apprenticeship Delivery \n\n • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across AI and digital apprenticeship programmes\n, • Embed Microsoft Copilot and AI tools into apprenticeship delivery and learner activities\n, • Support learners through their full journey, including onboarding, progression and preparation for end-point assessment\n, • Maintain a strong focus on learner outcomes, achievement and progression\n\n Curriculum & Content Development \n\n • Design and develop engaging, industry-relevant learning content aligned to apprenticeship standards\n, • Create blended learning materials (workshops, digital modules, video content and practical labs)\n\n Integrate training on: \n\n • Microsoft 365 productivity tools\n, • Microsoft Copilot (prompting, workplace use cases, productivity gains)\n, • Copilot Studio (introductory automation and solution building)\n, • Continuously improve content based on learner feedback, employer input and performance data\n\n Training Delivery & Facilitation: \n Deliver training across multiple formats including: \n\n • Classroom-based sessions\n, • Virtual delivery (Microsoft Teams)\n, • 1:1 and small group coaching\n\n Facilitate hands-on learning experiences that enable learners to: \n\n • Apply Microsoft tools effectively in their roles\n, • Use Copilot to improve productivity\n, • Build simple solutions using Copilot Studio\n, • Adapt delivery style to meet the needs of different learner and employer audiences\n\n \n AI Adoption & Workplace Application \n Support employers to embed AI tools into business processes \n Deliver practical training on: \n\n • Prompt engineering fundamentals\n, • Workflow optimisation using AI\n, • Automation opportunities through Copilot Studio and related tools\n, • Promote responsible AI use, including governance, data protection and ethical considerations\n, • Learner Support & Progress Monitoring\n, • Track learner progress and provide timely support and feedback\n, • Conduct regular reviews to ensure learners remain on track\n, • Identify and address barriers to learning and achievement\n, • Support safeguarding and wellbeing in line with organisational policies\n\n \n Stakeholder & Employer Engagement \n\n • Build strong working relationships with employer partners\n, • Support training needs analysis to identify digital and AI capability gaps\n, • Provide guidance to employers on skills development and AI adoption\n, • Work collaboratively with business development and curriculum teams\n\n \n Quality Assurance & Compliance \n\n • Maintain accurate learner records in line with ESFA funding rules\n, • Ensure delivery meets Ofsted quality standards\n, • Participate in internal quality assurance processes and audits\n, • Contribute to continuous improvement across apprenticeship provision\n, • Professional Development & Innovation\n, • Stay up to date with developments in Microsoft technologies, AI and automation\n, • Continuously enhance your own knowledge and delivery capability\n, • Contribute to the development of new AI and digital training programmes\n, • Act as an advocate for innovation within the Apprenticeships team\n\n \n Knowledge, Skills & Experience \n Essential \n\n • Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience)\n, • Experience delivering training within apprenticeships or workforce development\n, • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)\n, • Understanding of Microsoft Copilot and its application in workplace productivity\n, • Experience supporting learners to achieve structured learning outcomes\n, • Strong communication, facilitation and coaching skills\n, • Ability to manage workload independently and meet delivery targets\n, • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills\n, • Adaptable, proactive and solution-focused approach\n\n \n Desirable \n\n • Experience delivering AI or digital apprenticeship standards\n, • Experience with Copilot Studio or Power Platform tools\n, • Understanding of prompt engineering and AI adoption\n, • Knowledge of automation tools and workflow design\n, • Awareness of apprenticeship funding and compliance requirements\n, • Teaching or training qualification (e.g. AET, CET, DET)\n\n \n Role Requirements \n\n • Based in the North East of England\n, • Office-based role with delivery across employer sites\n, • Full UK driving licence\n, • Access to own vehicle\n, • Willingness to travel across the region and occasionally nationally\n, • At Zenith, we’re committed to creating a supportive, flexible, and rewarding environment where our people can thrive.
