Personal Lines Team LeaderAre you an experienced Personal Lines leader looking for an opportunity where you can genuinely influence team performance, customer outcomes and business success? We're partnering with a well-established and growing insurance business that is looking to appoint an experienced Personal Lines Team Leader to oversee a large team of Personal Lines professionals across two UK locations. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation where you'll play a pivotal role in driving service excellence, operational performance and employee development, whilst working closely with senior leadership on key strategic initiatives. The role is to work from Sheffield but with some travel to the South Coast, operating on a hybrid basis with two days per week in the office. As the team is spread across both locations, regular travel between offices will be required, with travel expenses covered. You'll be responsible for leading a team of approximately 20 Personal Lines professionals, ensuring exceptional customer outcomes, strong retention performance, regulatory compliance and a highly engaged team culture. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, support business transformation projects and build strong relationships with insurer and internal stakeholders. Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders to gather information and support effective complaint resolution. Ensure complaints are handled in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies and agreed timescales. Identify recurring issues, trends and areas for improvement, providing insight where appropriate. Contribute to the continuous improvement of complaint handling processes and the wider customer experience. Attend team meetings and actively contribute ideas and suggestions. Support the Complaints Manager and wider team with additional activities as required. Take ownership of personal development and complete relevant training and development objectives. Skills & Experience Required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and professional telephone manner. Previous experience handling customer complaints within a FCA regulated environment. Good understanding of FCA complaint handling requirements, including DISP and Consumer Duty. Strong investigative and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to make fair and balanced decisions. Our client Rotherham metropolitan borough Council is looking for a Social Work Team Manager to join their Children in Care team. We are seeking a team manager for a Children in Care team. The current postholder is being seconded to another position for a period of 6 months, and we would like cover for that period. The specific team which is being covered is yet to be agreed (there may be some movement internally) but will be one of three busy social work teams. We work with children from 0-18 years old who are accommodated under S20, care orders or Placed with Parents/kinship arrangements. The social workers in the team could range from 6-8 staff to supervise and caseloads at the moment are around 22. We rarely work with children who have plans of adoption, unless there has been a long search or there are particularly complex circumstances. We work with a small number of separated children seeking asylum. A focus for us at the moment is rehabilitating children home to the care of parents or relatives where it is safe enough to do so following assessment. Hybrid working is in place, so the postholder would be expected to work three days in the office and could work from home two days per week. This would be subject to change or more days in the office for short periods if other team managers are on leave or sick, but leave is usually planned and coordinated well in advance. There is a duty system in place where one team manager is duty manager each day - duty managers must be office based on those days. Core hours are 9am-5pm but flexible working is available subject to office cover being agreed with the other team managers.
