Our client is currently recruiting two Project Workers to work in the Ilford area at a service that provides supported housing accommodation to clients with complex needs and a history of rough sleeping. 37.5 hours per week Monday - Sunday (rota basis) Shifts: 08:00 - 16:00 and 14:00 - 22:00 Temporary: approx. 2-3 months, with the possibility of extension £17.76 per hour (£15.85 per hour, with £1.91 holiday pay) This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact in the lives of adults with a history of homelessness. Principal Education is looking for Behaviour Mentors to work in schools, PRUs and alternative provision across Havering. Havering has one of the fastest growing SEMH cohorts in London. The council's own forecasts projected a 150% rise in children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs over five years, the steepest growth of any need type in the borough. Those pupils are in classrooms now, and schools are short of the right adults to sit alongside them. You do not need a teaching qualification. What matters is that you can stay calm with a young person who is not calm, and come back the next day. As a Behaviour Mentor you will work 1:1 or with very small groups of pupils who have significant behavioural, emotional and social needs. As a Head Chef you will be: • Coordinating the day-to-day management of the catering team to run an efficient food production service., • Ensuring that the catering service meets the nutritional and dietary needs of the service users., • Ensuring the catering service provides meals to staff and company visitors in accordance with the Company policies and procedures., • Taking the lead in the production of a menu plan, providing a varied diet within budgetary restraints., • Ensuring that any maintenance and servicing of catering equipment or the environment is reported to Facilities Manager/maintenance., • Seek feedback, develop and standardise seasonal menu items to ensure nutritious and high-quality food is produced., • Responding to any reported complaints or incidents, assisting with investigation and referring any unresolved complaints, • Responsible for stock management and equipment in the production areas, reporting issues or concerns., • Managing efficient staff rotas, plan agency and overtime cover and ensure absences are covered within agreed budgets., • Assisting in the completion of monthly audits of the catering provision to ensure standards are maintained.
