This role operates on a hybrid basis, with a minimum requirement of two days per week in our Chester Operations Centre. The position follows standard working hours of Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00. Job Overview – Marketing Manager We are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Marketing Manager to join Vital Power Group, supporting both our Power and EV divisions. This is a pivotal role that will shape the Group’s marketing direction, elevate brand presence, and drive customer engagement across a fast-growing, multi-service organisation. As Marketing Manager, you will take ownership of developing and executing our marketing strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and impactful campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels. Working closely with senior leadership, operations, and sales teams, you will lead brand development, manage content creation, support product launches, enhance customer communications, and strengthen lead-generation activity. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing professional who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and wants to contribute directly to the future success of a rapidly expanding group. Key Responsibilities and Duties • Develop and deliver the Group-wide marketing strategy for the Power and EV divisions, ensuring a consistent, aligned brand identity across all channels and in line with company values and commercial objectives., • Lead brand positioning activities, including market research, competitor analysis, and customer insight gathering., • Plan, create, and manage content across digital platforms, including website, social media, email marketing, and internal communication channels., • Produce high-quality written and visual content, such as case studies, brochures, presentations, newsletters, and video briefs., • Develop and execute targeted campaigns to support product launches, service promotions, and strategic business initiatives., • Manage the content calendar and ensure regular delivery of engaging, relevant communications., • Oversee the development and performance of the company websites, ensuring content is current, optimised, and engaging., • Manage SEO, PPC, and paid social activity where required, either directly or through external partners., • Monitor analytics and KPIs to track campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement, • Partner with the sales teams to develop marketing materials, proposals, and pitch content that support business development goals., • Create sector-specific content to help drive lead generation and customer engagement., • Develop and deliver internal comms to strengthen company culture and support employee engagement., • Contribute to employer brand initiatives and recruitment campaign materials in line with HR objectives., • Support the planning and management of company events, industry exhibitions, webinars, and customer engagement initiatives., • Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring value for money and ROI on campaigns and activities., • Drive continuous improvement of marketing processes, tools, and standards., • Take ownership of marketing project timelines and ensure high-quality, timely delivery., • Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on marketing performance, campaign impact, and strategic opportunities., • To work positively and communicate professionally across the team, providing an effective contribution to work tasks Person Specification Criteria - Education, Qualifications & Experience • Degree qualified or equivalent in Marketing, Business or Communications., • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal., • Experience using CRM, marketing or sales platforms., • Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies across multiple channels, • Hands-on experience creating and managing digital content, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and internal communications, • High attention to detail and quality in all deliverables.
