    We are recruiting on behalf of a dental practice in Kensington seeking a motivated and reliable Trainee Dental Nurse for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in dental nursing in a professional clinical environment, with full workplace support. Key Responsibilities • Assist the dentist during a range of clinical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, including instrument decontamination and sterilisation, • Provide clear pre- and post-treatment support to patients, • Maintain accurate patient records using clinical systems, • Support patient care and wellbeing throughout appointments, • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations, • Assist with appointment coordination and general administration, • Support stock control and ordering of materials Requirements • Strong communication skills and good command of English, • Basic IT skills, • Organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment, • Positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Training and Development Full training will be provided within the role. The successful candidate will be supported to work towards a recognised dental nursing qualification as part of their employment. This training pathway is designed for individuals who are not currently undertaking a dental nursing qualification.

This rewarding role involves working closely with clients in respite and community settings, promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life while providing high-quality person-centred care. Key Responsibilities • Deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred care to individuals with complex needs., • Support clients with daily living activities, including personal care, nutrition, mobility, and medication assistance where required., • Build positive and trusting relationships with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams., • Support individuals with learning disabilities and autism using appropriate communication and behavioural support strategies., • Monitor and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or behavioural wellbeing., • Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans., • Promote independence, choice, inclusion, and community participation., • Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control procedures at all times. Essential Requirements • Previous experience in a care, support, or healthcare setting., • Understanding of person-centred care principles., • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs is desirable., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Compassionate, patient, and professional approach., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Right to work in the UK., • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Desirable Qualifications • NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)., • Medication administration training., • Experience working with positive behaviour support approaches., • Complex care experience, including PEG feeding, epilepsy management, tracheostomy care, or other clinical interventions (where applicable).
