Full-time | Permanent Overview A career-building opportunity with a clear path to Senior Property Manager within three years. Chapmans Property Management is hiring. As we move into a milestone year for the business, alongside an exciting brand refresh, we’re looking for a Trainee Property Manager who wants to grow with us and play a meaningful role in the next chapter of Chapmans. This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded, independent Edinburgh lettings agency and develop through structured training, clear KPIs, and hands-on experience from day one. The Role You’ll work closely with a senior property manager, initially supporting the management of an established portfolio. From the outset, you’ll be involved in: • Tenant communication and issue resolution, • Property inspections and reporting, • Maintenance coordination, • Check-ins, check-outs and inventories, • Property relets Trainee Property Manager → Property Manager → Senior Property Manager • Property Manager typically within 12–18 months Alongside this, you’ll receive: • Support towards ARLA / Letwell qualifications, • Ongoing training and development, • Driven and proactive - You take ownership and follow things through, • Interested in property - industry experience is preferred but must have a clear desire to build a career in the industry, • Highly organised and detail-focused - You understand that small details matter, • A strong communicator - Confident with tenants, landlords and contractors, • A team player - Collaborative and supportive in a small team environment, • Comfortable with accountability You work well in a high-visibility, high-standard environment, • Minimum 6-12 months experience of working in a fast-paced office environment, • Full driving licence We operate differently from larger, more process-driven agencies.
