\n Property Manager – Edinburgh \n Salary Guide: £30,000 – £32,000 \n Great Property Company | Great Team | Real Opportunity for Development \n \n You love working with people and property. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strong work ethic and take pride in delivering a first-class customer experience. \n \n You’re experienced, organised and confident working independently. You don’t need to be micro-managed — you know what needs to be done, you take ownership and you get on with it. \n Sound like you? \n \n Our client is a growing property company looking to add an experienced Property Manager to their professional, customer-focused team. \n \n This is a role for someone who can genuinely hit the ground running. You’ll be responsible for managing a dedicated portfolio of residential properties and will need a strong working knowledge of all aspects of day-to-day Property Management. \n \n With continued growth, our client is looking for someone with at least two years’ traditional Property Management experience, ideally ARLA qualified (or working towards the qualification), who is comfortable managing a portfolio and dealing confidently with landlords, tenants, contractors and colleagues. \n \n The Role \n You’ll take ownership of your portfolio and provide landlords and tenants with a high-quality, one-point-of-contact service. \n \n The role is varied and fast-paced, so you’ll need to be comfortable juggling priorities, making decisions, resolving issues and keeping things moving. No two days are the same. \n \n You’ll be joining a small, close-knit team where everyone plays their part. The culture is very much “all hands on deck” — people support one another, share the workload and work together to achieve the same goal. \n \n This is not a role for someone looking to simply complete a list of tasks and clock off at 5pm. It will suit someone who thrives on being involved, takes pride in their work and is prepared to go the extra mile when required. \n \n In return, you’ll have the opportunity to join a supportive and growing business, with great working conditions and plenty of scope for ongoing development. \n \n Must Haves \n At least 2 years’ traditional residential Property Management experience \n ARLA or similar qualification, or currently working towards a relevant qualification \n Full, clean driving licence \n Experience using SME and Fixflo \n Strong knowledge of the Private Rented Sector (PRS) \n Detailed knowledge of Private Residential Tenancy (PRT) legislation \n Experience of the Edinburgh lettings market \n HMO experience \n Strong IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook \n Excellent organisational and administrative skills \n Experience managing client relationships \n Experience in conflict resolution and negotiation \n First-class customer care and communication skills \n Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities \n Strong sense of accountability and ownership \n Positive and proactive work ethic \n Friendly, approachable and professional manner \n Genuine team player who is happy to support colleagues \n A genuine interest in people and property \n \n Desirable \n Previous experience managing a residential property portfolio within a structured portfolio-management environment \n Strong business acumen \n Target-driven approach \n Experience working in a particularly fast-paced property environment \n \n The Person \n We’re looking for someone who is experienced, capable and self-motivated. \n Someone who can walk through the door, understand what needs to be done and get on with it. Someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do. \n \n You’ll be dealing with people every day, so being approachable, professional and confident is essential. Equally important is the ability to work as part of a small team where everyone mucks in and supports each other. \n \n If you’re someone who takes pride in delivering a great service, enjoys a busy working environment and wants to be part of a team that genuinely works together, we’d love to hear from you. \n Great working conditions, a strong team culture and plenty of opportunity for ongoing development. \n
