Internal Sales Advisor | £27,000 - £30,000 | Colchester, Essex My client, a respected supplier within the construction sector, is currently seeking an Internal Sales Advisor to join their busy, customer‑focused team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys building strong customer relationships, and has a proactive approach to driving sales growth. Responsibilities • Handle incoming calls and email enquiries, ensuring a high standard of customer care, • Develop and nurture effective working relationships with trade clients and business partners, • Advise customers on products, pricing and availability, preparing quotes where required, • Accurately manage orders and maintain customer account information, • Assist field sales colleagues by identifying opportunities and carrying out follow-up activity, • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records within the CRM system Skills • Background in sales or customer support, ideally within a B2B environment, • Clear and confident communicator with the ability to build rapport, • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and collaborative team player, • Comfortable using IT systems; experience with CRM platforms is an advantage Package • £27,000 - £30,000 basic salary + performance‑related bonus, • Opportunities for career growth and development, • Staff discounts and additional company benefits, • Free on‑site parking
