Logistics Manager Greenford (with UK-wide oversight) Full-Time | Permanent Are you an experienced Logistics or Transport professional ready to take ownership of a fast-paced operation? We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Logistics Manager to lead our clients transport function, ensuring efficient, compliant and customer-focused delivery across the UK. The Role As Logistics Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Transport Desk and fleet operations. You’ll ensure all deliveries are executed efficiently, drivers are managed effectively and compliance standards are consistently met. You’ll play a key role in planning routes, improving processes and driving performance across multiple depots. Key Responsibilities • Oversee all transport operations, ensuring full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, • Manage and lead a team of drivers, transport coordinators, and agency staff, • Plan and optimise delivery routes to maximise efficiency and meet deadlines, • Control and coordinate all dispatch and driving activity across shifts, • Monitor driver performance, conduct reviews and manage compliance with company policies, • Ensure all drivers hold valid licences and adhere to safety standards, • Manage agency driver usage, ensuring service levels are maintained, • Oversee fleet maintenance schedules and vehicle compliance checks, • Maintain accurate driver records using HR systems (e.g. BambooHR), • Manage fuel usage and identify cost-saving opportunities, • Implement improvements such as GPS tracking and fleet management systems, • Support international logistics processes, including carnets and customs documentation, • Work closely with internal teams including Transport, Operations and Rental Desk, • Ensure health & safety standards are upheld at all times What We’re Looking For • Transport Manager CPC qualification (essential), • Proven experience in a logistics/transport management role, • Strong leadership skills with experience managing drivers and transport teams, • Excellent knowledge of transport compliance, driver regulations, and fleet management, • Ability to plan, analyse and optimise logistics operations, • Commercial awareness with a focus on cost control and efficiency, • Strong organisational and communication skills, • Experience working in a fast-paced, operational environment Why Join our Client? • Opportunity to lead and shape a key operational function, • Work within a supportive and growing organisation, • Varied role with real responsibility and impact, • Collaborative environment across multiple departments Apply Now If you’re a driven Logistics professional ready for your next challenge, we want to hear from you.
