We are recruiting for a Project Manager to manage and facilitate industrialisation of NPD projects, from concept to commercialisation, that supports the strategic goals of the company. The Role: Manage all aspects of the product development process. Partner with the Engineering Management team to ensure objectives are achieved and produce detailed weekly NPD metric reports for the Senior Leadership team. Ensure customer specifications are managed in line with budget expectations and co-ordinate solutions to both technical and commercial challenges. Manage projects in line with company objectives and assist Sales Administration with required tender /quotation preparation. Manage solutions to in service product failures with the aftermarket team, to the satisfaction of the customer and assist the various departments in pre-customer, sign off / acceptance. Ensure process change control procedures are adhered to and communicated and conduct post review of project at closure for improvement points and closed loop feedback. Manage daily running of the development department alongside Project Managers. Manage team, including recruitment (as appropriate), training and evaluation of training, discipline, motivation, and recognition. Lead existing team members ensuring that each have a clear view of their roles and responsibilities, which will be in-line with corporate objectives. Manage daily meetings and ensure open communication is encouraged throughout the projects The Requirements: HND in Engineering (or equivalent). Diploma in Manufacturing / engineering Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years working experience as a project manager Experience in resource planning. Demonstratable experience in budget preparation and control Experience working in a manufacturing environment Proficiency in preparing timelines, managing, and reporting on projects utilising MS Project / Excel.
