Reports to: CMO Location: New Acres, Wandsworth, SW London + FOUNDRY locations (Eastbourne, Hove) Seniority Level: Manager Job Summary This is a unique dual role for a dynamic and organised individual passionate about community building and event sales. The successful candidate will dedicate their time to two exciting ventures: fostering a vibrant community for new brands at New Acres, a brand new residential and commercial neighbourhood in Wandsworth Town, SW London, and driving event sales for the innovative workspace brand, FOUNDRY. This role is ideal for a proactive and adaptable professional who thrives in a multi-faceted environment, can build strong relationships, and has a proven track record in both community management and sales. Key Responsibilities New Acres: 20 hours/week You will be the primary point of contact for the 22 new independent retail brands launching in this brand-new neighbourhood. Your role will be crucial in ensuring a smooth and successful onboarding process and fostering a sense of community from the very beginning. Onboarding: • Welcome new retailers, providing them with our welcome pack and key contacts list whilst acting as their main point of contact., • Introduce new tenants to the wider New Acres community network and partners., • Ensure tenants adhere to the design guidelines for their store fit out., • Oversee the completion of the site works insurance form with partner., • Conduct a final onsite meeting with partners to ensure all aspects of the unit are ready for opening. Community Curation: • Develop and implement a community engagement strategy to foster a sense of belonging and collaboration among the New Acres brands., • Organise regular tenant meet ups and workshops to encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing., • Create and manage a digital communication channel for the New Acres community to share updates, opportunities, and success stories., • Track and report on key community metrics, such as tenant satisfaction, event attendance, and social media engagement. Marketing Support: • Facilitate introductions and ongoing communications between brands and our marketing partners., • Attend weekly marketing catchups with suppliers to ensure the brands’ voice is represented. Event Programming & Management: • Plan and execute a calendar of community-wide events and activations to help drive., • Collaborate with individual brands to support and promote their in-store events and workshops. FOUNDRY: 20 hours/week You will be responsible for driving external sales for our event spaces across multiple locations, including our conference suite in Eastbourne and our versatile event space in Hove. This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales-driven individual with experience in the hospitality or events industry to make a significant impact on our growing brand. Sales & Business Development: • Identify and target external companies and organisations to sell event space and conference facilities across the FOUNDRY portfolio., • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, managing leads and enquiries effectively., • Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business., • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial enquiry to post-event follow-up. Marketing & Promotion: • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to promote FOUNDRY's event spaces., • Represent FOUNDRY at industry events and networking opportunities to generate new business leads., • Identify and build strategic partnerships with local businesses, event planners, and destination management companies to drive new business opportunities and create packaged offerings. Event Execution & Client Success: • Coordinate site visits with the relevant location teams., • Liaise with the on-site operations teams to ensure a seamless and high-quality event experience for all clients., • Conduct post-event follow-ups to gather client feedback, ensure satisfaction, and encourage repeat bookings., • Regular KPI reporting on sales targets. Qualifications • A strong background in both community management and event/hospitality sales., • Experience in selling conference and meeting space, preferably within the hospitality industry., • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills., • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously., • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently., • A passion for creating vibrant communities and delivering exceptional event experiences., • Familiarity with the local areas of Eastbourne and Hove is a plus. Salary: £36,000
