Express Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading energy solutions specialist in their search for an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their expanding commercial team, based near Chesterfield. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive sales professional with a strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and a proven track record in generating new business. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £43k, an excellent commission structure offering a c£60k package, plus company car (electric) with home charger and a comprehensive benefits package including pension scheme and 31 days’ annual leave. Roles and Responsibilities • Identify and secure new commercial clients across a range of sectors, • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to bid submission and contract negotiation, • Conduct on-site evaluations and needs assessments to propose tailored HVAC solutions, • Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to prepare proposals, quotations, and tenders, • Deliver engaging sales presentations and technical consultations to prospective clients, • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach Skills and Experience • Experience in similar role selling HVAC services and solutions sales, • Strong technical understanding of commercial HVAC systems, • Demonstrated success in developing new business and managing sales processes, • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, • Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team About Express Recruitment Express Recruitment has been offering exceptional recruitment solutions across the East Midlands since 1987, “exceeding expectations every time” of over 267,000 candidates.
